This seems the current thread on performance settings: I've long had a boost from moving the threads around, but I looked up last month and got the impression they'd been locked down to the default cores.

… A SMRT Guy would ask if there was some maximum FPS set somewhere? I just got a new video card, and seem to be 210 on the training grounds-version of Frozen?

Afaik, there is not a FPS lock in place but it can be set in the config file or the GPU config file if ya wanting to lower it. MWO graphics is primarily driven by single core CPU speed, not an increase in cores but speed itself.
