I like to bring arm mounted secondary weapons just so I can reach UAVs, usually a pair or medium lasers or even a LPPC or two if it fits the build. Gotta watch out for my torso-weapons-only teammates.

its good target practice and free points. i think players are in 2 camps usually:
players who cannot hit the uav, either through lack of skill or loadout deficiencies (outside firing arcs) or through bad positioning (too close or too far).
those who can delete four of them in fewer seconds.

This thread is a good reminder for people. It is mind-blowing how in most games I play I am the only player shooting down UAVs, or else always the first to notice them and shoot them down. This is in games with many T1 players. Look up, guys

And something worth pointing out to everyone, because even though some of you may know this, it happens that not everyone does... If for any reason you can not hit the Enemy UAV yourself, then at least get your Arm Cursor pointed upon the Enemy UAV long enough to use the Command Wheel and signal an "Enemy Spotted" to Your Team which will then mark the Enemy UAV long enough for someone to look for it and blow it out of the sky. And of course, don't forget to talk about it on In-Game VoIP with your Microphone if you have one, telling Your Team that you're unable to shoot it yourself.
