It appears the variants were chosen to match the chassis in the Founders packs but a different variant that, in the early days of MWO, were the strongest variants. The clan variants were chosen to be the Clan mirrors of the IS mechs chosen, making sure not to pick the primary variant which already has a Special version.

From the FAQ:
Q: What are the Hardpoint details?
Hardpoints and other 'Mech details can be found towards the bottom of the Platinum Collection Pack page.

I saw comments earlier about it working on Chrome but not on Safari. I'm using an up-to-date version of Chrome and I'm not currently seeing the 'Mech details.

Luckily, you don't have to depend on it. The hardpoints and quirks will be the same as the Standard version of the chassis without the (P) designation. You can view them in the store or using MechDB: https://mwo.nav-alpha.com/

There's also the Platinum camo paintjob for your entire mech chassis (for all variants).

Therefore I could apply the Platinum camo paintjob also for my Hunchback Grid Iron hero mech, HBK-4P(S), etc.

And you can change your Platinum metallic camo paintjob hue!

Gold Atlas = Jade Falcon Gold + Platinum Camo !
Platinum Atlas = Titanium White + Platinum Camo !
Gun Metal Grey Atlas = Obsidian Black + Platinum Camo !

Unfortunately, I can't even see a list of the mechs on the pack page, so I don't have the info I need to look them up. :-(

They love their flip-cards since the introduction of bundles, for sure. So I guess that feature is here to stay. Better get accustomed to it.

Orion IIC and Highlander IIC can do OK as brawlers, actually.
