3R: Humanoid Catapult with 2 ballistic hardpoints instead of jump jets.
5K: Humanoid Catapult without jump jets.
5M: RA has 2E 1M 1B, LA just 1M, will be the weird one.
6T: Good thing they included this, will be the most interesting, since it brings something new for IS mechs.
7L: Movement profile of a Rifleman IIC, 4M 2E, ECM. Could also be quite interesting.

I guess the abrupt arrival of a CRD-9BR and surprise announcement of the return of melee would have been too much to hope for...

It's actually identical to a JM6-A with arm actuators and slightly different hardpoint placement, but it's not like I I configured a Jagermech that way back in 2012 or anything... >_>

Crusader Hero "Crael"

Interesting facts:

• The BattleTech original sports four SRM-6s: LT/RT/LL/RL. So the MWO version should have four missile hardpoints in torso (2 in LT, 2 in RT)
  
• Additional armament is the usual pair of MLs and MGs in arms.
  
• The BattleTech original sports Claws. So the MWO version could possibly come with the special geometry or with Bolt-ons. Also, if the Crusader makes it to MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, this "Crael" Hero variant could have stronger Melee attacks in this game.
  
• You can see the special Hero livery.

I totally forgot the JM6-A - even though that is the only JagerMech I own.

I've been asking for years for a Crusader, my first mech I played on tabletop and it is Iconic in the lore. Yeah, I'm a "mech dad" and I've loved the books and Battletech and the games as they came out. I'm gonna be buying this one out of principle! The Shadow Hawk doesn't get much love from some people but it is one of my favourite mechs, so this one is defo getting in the mech bay!

I love the originals and I will be certainly getting my hands on some Crusaders... On that note though, it is awfully close to that infamous April 1st... Some trickery might be involved and all this could be smoke and mirrors. I hope it is not, but it seems all too convenient...

I was gonna write a post asking why anyone would be exicted for a new Mech release after years of nothing and a few recycled mech chassis packs,....then read the comments. It seems there are a good lot of you excited for this. My cold black heart is not moved, however. Considering how close the game is to the end, why a new mech pack now; a final cash in? Sorry for the negative vibes, but that is the feeling I get. Hope it works out for the lot of you going to buy this, and game lives on for years to come, but I don't see it happening. o7

This game is only as close to death as we let it be. With our support we may just be able to breath enough life back into it to keep it going a bit longer. At least that is the hope many of us share.
