Greetings MechWarriors,

It is with great excitement that the MechWarrior Online team is bringing the first new BattleMech chassis to MWO since the release of the Dervish nearly 3 years ago. Add to that the fact that it is the iconic Crusader, which also happens to be the single-most requested 'Mech of all time by the MWO community, that's a lot of pressure! We want these 'Mechs to feel equally as good in-game as they look in the concept art, so all that is to say that we may still make adjustments to the 'Mechs in this pack, and if we do we will communicate those changes clearly. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

*NOTE: The 'Mech Specs on the Crusader order page have been updated to reflect the following changes:

• Armor values have been doubled on all Variants to represent in-game values.

CRD-5K

• Moved the MRM Ammo that replaced the C3 from head to LT.

CRD-CR(CRAEL)

• The left torso and right torso each get 1 ton MG ammo, 1 ton SRM ammo, 1 heat sink (12 heat sinks total now).
• Added hand actuators.

You probably didn't need the price hike by making the base pack the old base pack + "reinforcements" because the 6T and 7L are the best of the bunch anyways.

Since the (S) and (Hero) variants are not the best variants, I will wait for quirks before deciding on a purchase.

Pricing seems to be a tad steep for the collector’s pack (without boosted variant) but it might sell well.

Admittedly, the early adopter bonuses are pretty juicy.

The Collector is what used to be Standard ($20) + Reinforcements ($15) in older packs. TBH I'm not a big fan of structuring it like this, but if you buy before the preorder window ends you're also getting 3K MC ($15 value)

Seems odd that there's no additional perk to buying the Ultimate pack? It contains everything from the Special and Hero add on too, yes? Is there any difference between buying Collector+special+hero and buying the Ultimate? Or is it just to save time clicking through 3 orders?

Hey already purchased all of them! One final question, I would like the option to spend more money? If there was a way that after I bought them all I could get addition reinforcements Ideally I would like a second 6T. Could there be the option extended for full adopters to buy a second 6T or something like that?

1. where are standing cockpit item?
2. only 5 normal Variant? where are c-bill boost?
at least collector pack should provide c-bill boost cockpit item.

i know EARLY ADOPTERS provide c-bill boost hanging item. but this is EARLY ADOPTERS not normal option.

Argh, show us the quirks!

The collector pack has some largely forgettable variants, except the 6T, which can move at almost 80kph and mount 14MLAS, and looks to have decent jump capacity. That's a lot of yellow laser vom. Hitboxes and armour quirks will make or break it though, as IS medium lasers are pretty much brawling weapons in this meta.

The the 7L looked intriguing, until I saw the engine cap. A stealth SRM brawler? I guess they lowered the cap to keep it honest. The thought of a stealth Catapault A1 running around is a little terrifying, though it would be hot as hell. Might make a fun MRM poke machine.

Ooooh, actually... stealth LRM boat. Ok. I understand the drawback now.

It's not for balance, it's because the stock loadout has a smaller engine on that variant.

Using the normal formula it should've had the same cap as the Rifleman IIC, but PGI was feeling more merciful with this one (I kinda want the RFL-IIC to get the same treatment).

As for quirks, if the mech's model isn't finished yet then it's a lot harder to figure out exactly how strong they'll need to be.
