I see a lot of ppl throwing matches and also wasting ammo to get the event objectives. It is so wacky that I want to sit the game out. So frustrating......

Do machine-guns count as ballistics? My number of bullets used isn't matching up with shots fired...

Yes, It only counts when you click it, not hold it

The ballistic and energy task seems easy enough if you play with machineguns and small lasers often,
Thou you could just spam the tag laser for the Hero Corgi Mech Stand, feels weird that the basic Corgi Mech is the hardest to get when compared with the other two...

Seriously though, the 'matchmaking' in this game is so pathetically broken that its the sole reason I'm not going to spend any money on it, and the fact that they're straight up acknowledging that its so broken with nothing to show as for fixing, not to mention other flaws, it just makes it worse.

This event doesn't seem to be registering actions as completed. I've won several matches on Conquest by points but it isn't completing and I'll go in to a match in a machine gun boat and yet not getting any progress in ballistics etc etc.

anyone else having these issues?

Not just 5000... It's 5000 for each of Missiles, Ballistics, AND Energy... Means you need 15000 clicks total, which is way too danged much for 4 Days of time! That condition has been changed: It's Win on cap in Assault now.

Laser can be done with TAG.
Ballistic, i iused a 12 LMG Piranha and got 9.500 points in 1 match.
Missile is the really hard one i´m struggling with. Cause you can´t spam missiles.

So far i finished 8/9 and had some fun matches. Thanks Matt, i really enjoyed this event.

Not a fan of the "shoot weapon x times" component of this event. 500 weapon fires, okay. 5000? Nope. It's whacky, sure, but it also promotes pure cancer builds and macro use. The game needs less of that, not more.

So easiest way to get the 5000 clicks for the Ballistic weapons.

Take one of your mechs with the highest ballistic count on it. Load it up with MG (doesn't matter the size)

Assign all of them to 2 fire groups.

Go into your settings and change one of those fire groups to your Scroll Up wheel. Then assign the other group to the Scroll Down wheel.

Go in to the game and just scroll up and down like a madman

Profit.

I was done in like 3 matches and that was casually scrolling.

The base capture event is cancer. The amount of RNG to first get the game mode to show up in the vote, and then the amount of griefing you get from players that have already completed it, or simply don't care, is staggering.

Please re-think such things for future events.

Between 1 and 10 how bad idea this mad-4hp is? all that ammo and only 765 shots....and that goes into 5000.... over 6 and half times, maybe with ammo nodes could be done in 6 games. tags energy shots should be eez with 4 tags
