The problem now is getting anyone to listen when a conquest/assault match starts. People are stubbornly sticking to "what it says in the event".

Yeah, the Conquest not working is pretty stupid. If it was intentional, it's not funny. You have something that says "do this, get that" and the "that" has actual value.

Considering the game actively punishes you for playing the objectives, it would have been nice for it to actually work once.

Problem is, it does work. It just isnt conquest like it states... Its assault.

Looks like the 5000 shots counts all the weapons on your mech as 1 shot each per volley. So run a mech with lots of hardpoints and/or rapidfire you'll get through them fast.

I believe Laser AMS count towards the 5000 energy shots, not entirely positive though.

I seriously doubt that.

even if it did, their is a even easier way to farm that challenge. just spam TAG lasers, they count

Glad to hear you fixed it... Last that I heard, there are still some rather niche Bugs in the Event systems which still have to be swatted and ironed out.


Now if only we could fix all the people in MWO's Community that think it's funny to deny other people completing the Objective during an Event that's running which requires it. Could the next Monthly Patch please include a bump on the Assault Capture Bonus value to something nearby what Conquest gives?


Also, doesn't it seem a little too overboard & crazy to require 5000 trigger clicks of each style of weaponry (Missile, Ballistic, and Energy) to the point of needing a 15000 combined total in 4 days of time? Others appear to already be questioning this in previous posts before I arrived to stick something up. Please knock off one of those zeros, such that it becomes reasonable for the time period allowed? Either that, or please boost the Event's time by a couple of weeks, in order to maximize overall player enjoyment?


EDIT :: I just noticed that the Event's description now falls off at the eleventh word... Was this intended or just merely an error?
