Now that MWO rolled out new Skill Tree May 2022:

1) Should we manually delete legacy MWO Skill Tree *.MWS files?
(Even if we try to Load these files, MWO game client says it's incompatible).

C:\Users\abc\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\MechSkillTrees

2) Or delete these files via MWO game client "Load Skill Tree Layout"?

3) Or is MWO going to provide partial loading of old/legacy skill tree, let us fiddle with new skill tree, then save over the old file?

Actually sort of surprised no one asked this question yet...

did you know that when you hold shift while pressing the delete key on your 2x3 block you delete files without them going through the recycle bin?

Yes, save a bullet. EDIT: that was a little harsh. Sorry.

Move them to a different sub-folder or something, unless you really don't want that past data. Even if they can't be used right now, it might be possible that they're rendered importable & convertible at a later time. Here's to hopeful idealism! :)
