Yeah for sure. Even mil-sim games like ARMA aren't realistic in terms of the amount of indirect fire that everyone would have access to in real life. Because if it featured a realistic amount of indirect fire, that wouldn't make for a fun game.
Heck, from what I've heard, even when real life militaries do exercises, artillery can be so dominant that in order to get good training value out of their time in the exercise, infantry are so often "killed" by artillery that they must be "revived" multiple times in the same exercise to get a chance to actually learn.
