[Akamia Terizen]

I know each tier includes a Prime(I) variant of that ’Mech, but it also includes two more, regular variants of each. I presume one of them is a normal Prime, but if so, what’s the other one?

I’m mostly curious about the Timber Wolf and Dire Wolf parts of the pack specifically, but I would like to know what’s in the rest of it as well.

Do I have the option of buying each tier piecemeal so that I still get all the goodies, or do I have to buy it all upfront?

(Because if I have to buy it all upfront to get the goodies, I've got a lot of saving to do... even if I catch it during a sale...)

You must buy the entire pack of one chassis with three variants, if this is what you are asking. You can not cherrypick just Madcat Prime, Daishi A and Daishi B.

Buying just the Madcat pack and the Daishi pack would cost you $100.00, less when buying them during some future sale.

Oh, I’m not looking to cherrypick variants or anything. I just want to know if I can get away with buying the Kit Fox tier first ($30 USD), then work my way up over time so that I can get all the stuff. I expect not. lol

As martian said, try billing@mwomercs.com to see if MWO still has a manual way of upgrading your Clan Wave I package from "a-la-carte" to top tier "Makasari".

There was a way to manually upgrade your Clan Wave I package from "a-la-carte" to top tier "Makasari",
but that was years ago and even the relevant webpage has been deleted:

I myself also want these mechs from Clan Wave I / Clan Wave II : (other mechs are collateral bonuses to me!)

I'll buy the entire Clan Wave I package if MWO reinstate the ECM back into CT of DWF-Prime (ECM was there for 2 months summer 2021). Almost bought Clan Wave I last summer, started waiting for a sale on Clan Wave I, until ECM went away

Heck, if/when I actually buy Clan Wave I, then I'll very very likely also buy Clan Wave II for the MDD-Prime(I)

And this is coming from someone who owns Stryker/Warden/Hunter/Predator/Bloodname/Rivals/Crusader

The Clan ECM suite was just a design error made by PGI.

The actual Daishi Prime is not equipped with the ECM suite.

Even PGi explicitly admitted that mistake in the Patch notes:

Yeah, I do not miss the Dire Wolf Prime having an ECM mount. Sure, I was not there when PGI accidentally put one in, but even if I was, it really does not need it. Especially now that the Dire Wolf C exists, which does have ECM in the CT. And a Special variant, if you buy the Warden pack!

I plan to run these Prime(I) variants in stock configuration anyways. Is this a "good" idea? Probably not! But I do not buy my ’Mechs for performance anyway. (Despite this, I am steadily clawing my way out of T5 lately...)

It's your money of course Akamira, but IMHO those Clan packs aren't very good value for the $ considering that most of those mechs are available for C-Bills.

Oh, I know they're available for C-Bills, but they don't have the C-Bill bonus that I presume the Prime(I) variants, as Specials, do, and I want the extras (titles/badges) which can't be acquired otherwise.

If I just wanted the specific ’Mechs, I'd go buy them with C-Bills, or in the case of the Prime(I) variants specifically without the other goodies, go directly to A La Carte and not even bother with the Collection tiers that have the said other goodies.

You could just buy some of the booster packs. You can get the warden pack which has the dire and timber, and the summoner pack which also includes the Kit-fox. Or you could just buy select heroes which have unique omni pods.

The warden pack is a wonderful pack though, both mechs are extremely solid for just 20 bucks. Or you might wanna look into the new platinum packs. They have 4 mechs with the c-bill bonus and the skin can be used on any other variants you own. So if you buy this months pack with a commando and own a death's Kneel, you could slap on the skin. This only applies to the platinum packs.

One other note on packs, the origins pack and the IS resistance packs come with a whole bunch of paint if you buy the top lvl pack. One pack comes with 24 colors, though i forget which one, but maybe it's origins. So on top of c-bill mechs you get some colors and faction camo skins if that means anything to you.
