BTW one of the best ideas (and very popular on the forums). Is the Make My Mech Special. Which allows you to convert a non-champion/hero to a 30% bonus. This is a win win for you and the community charging something like 2k MC you'd sell these upgrades like hotcakes. Seriously guys, make my Corsair 7A Special, please!

I like the sound of this, though to simplify it why not just make a purchasable Daeron in a Santa suit plushy that sits on your mech dashboard. Works similar to the ballistic goggles, only its a standing item with a CBill boost you can swap between mechs.

I do like the idea, but it should not be for MC, It should be a cash product through the website. Seeing this is any mech i think maybe 20-25 bucks would be a decent starting point. This is not something that FTP should be grinding.

This is not a simple thing, your talking about flagging every single mech in the game, or at least the possibility. Even then they most likle would have to do it in batches. It's most likely, more work than you think. Your talking about a permant flag being added to a mech. either they would be building all new mechs for this, OR they would have to add a flag system which i think would be even more work than the just build a mech style of doing it which would basically mean your adding a crap ton of mechs to the game or a pretty beefy system to add the flags.

Programing is never simple and with the way they give out MC it would be stupid of them do make this option available for that. People could be making free heroes practically every month.. I'd have had 6 already this year, doesn't sound like a good idea from their point of view though i have gotten a bunch of heroes the same way. But seeing it's make my mech special, i think it should make them a bit of cash too.

You mean for the sake of dialling back additional velocity it recieved after the base velo buff of c-ERPPC.

yeah, it is a little confusing...

All mechs (Hero, Champion, Standard Variants) purchased with MC or CBills need to have a free mechbay (ie: these do not come with a free mechbay). Alternatively, you can sell one of your Monthly Free Mech to free up a MechBay!

That's why in the monthly free mech events, the rewards explicitly says free mechbay, and then free mech.

As for premium mech packs purchased with real life money, these comes with its free mechbays.

Trust this clears things up!

Hmm I could swore that all the Mechs in the In-Game store stated they came with a MechBay. I have 13 spares and have won a few from streamer raffles/giveaway's that I thought was just the cheapest thing that PGI gave to them (if they were popular enough) and pretty much useless.
Thanks for the clarification (still think its a cheap thing to give away and near useless item, now if it gave you slots for the Drop Bays, that'd be a decent thing to give away.)

Just to note: decided to buy the Nova-C variant because the quirks list the quirk as having an additional 104 rounds of per ton for the AC2s, 56 for standard ac/10, and a whole other bunch of ammo quirks.
Except that's not the case. All of the ammo bonuses are halved when you actually get the mech and slap on the ammo.
Buyer's regret.

I think you changed omnipods, in doing so, you loose the Set-of-8 bonuses, which amount to 50% of the ammo quirks the Nova C has:



with unchanged Omnipods, I see the correct number of bonus ammunition.
