Well we don't have tanks or aerospace either, and clan Er mediums don't do 7 damage and inner sphere doesn't have omnimechs..

Like martian said, your best bet will be either the "no warhorn" mod or making your own which replaces the silly sounds with other ones. Ive been making one with voice lines so its like a pilot talking when you get a kill.

Cockpit items and warhorns are tons of fun and I really appreciate being able to customize my mech with them.

If you're too cool for skool, no problem, just don't use them!

Its a money maker for PGI it wont go, and you sound real fun at parties..

I personally only use the thematic ones myself.

On the topic please add the other clans warhorns Coyote, Star adder, Goliath Scorpion.. c'mon.

They are there for a multitude of reasons. Not least of which is the game's MC economy and IRL money purchases. It's a free to play game. I for one, quite like many of them and think there should be more and they should be slightly cheaper.

As others have said they are a money maker because some players like them and spend mc to get them. Though an option to toggle them off/on in the menu would be nice.

Warhorns are good for psyops. The dead player supposedly cannot hear them, but his team can. And fear.

I like my warhorns. And I like hearing the enemies as well. Getting blown to pieces by a Dual AC-20 slow as molasses Assault and the hearing MEEP MEEP just makes me giggle. Did I grow up watching the Three Stooges? Yes, but that's besides the point. They just don't break immersion for me, in fact they help me enjoy the game more, make my mech more personalized ... it's like their own voice, a part of their character.
