Focused sales seem to be MWO's philosophy; they do have certain mech package(s) that they want high sales volume for at any given time... but this is quite normal...
~I suspect MWO right now wants focused sales on Crusader, IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06.

Anyways, back to your question, IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06 is "optional" in the greater scheme of things...
1. You only need "6" of the "11" Reward Levels to achieve that Ultimate Reward! (NICE COR-7A(P) )
ie: You may entirely skip IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06 purchase if you wish!

2. MWO was nice enough to provide you with a generous reward pathway to achieve "4" Reward Levels just by buying just IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06, provided that you never bought any other Platinum Collection packs before. But purely "optional"; you may skip this!

~The real sweet reward mechs are from buying any IS+Clan Platinum Collection, where you get these two nice mechs:
SNS-D(P) + RGH-3A(P).
But again, you do not have to buy IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06 for above two two nice mechs!

~Actually the additional reward mechs for IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06 is to the eye of the beholder (ie: might be "meh" to some).
PXH-1B(P): almost always RAC as primary weapon ==> more useful in T4/T5
HMN-P(P): Omnimech, so if you already have Hero Huntsman, this mech is also "optional" for you... (No Omni CT bonus yet)

In summary, you may entirely skip IS+Clan Platinum Collection 06 purchase if you wish!

Eligibility Conditions

• Have purchased any Clan pack or Clan Hero Variant from the Premium Packages Pages
  
• Excluding Platinum Packages
  
• Excluding Premium Packages
  
• Excludes MC Packages

At the top it says Clan pack from Premium Packages Pages, yet below it says "Excluding Premium Packages" ?

Are they the same thing? I want to activate the "Clan Reward" but am worried if I buy a pack it will not actually be the correct one?

So am I not understanding what qualifies for the Prime reward?
I see it lists Hero's, and I have purchased 6 Hero mechs using MC in Steam this year so far, yet it says I don't qualify?

Mechs:
- K9
- Phaket
- Virago
- Legend Killer
- IV4
- Deathstrike

If this is not intended, who can I contact to get it resolved?

From what I am seeing, I should qualify for the Clan, IS, and Prime rewards.
Yet none of them say I do.

when? Eligibility refreshes once every 24 hours. Those packs reward the prime reward, did you check that?

aah, thanks. i got prime reward when i bought solaris pack. i thought i would get IS pack reward or MC reward

*MC purchased through the Steam portal counts toward the MechWarrior Credits eligibility.

Only the IS Reward, since Premium Packs are excluded from the Prime.
