when playing mwo i have ran into a particular mech that i am not sure what itis called. it is either a heavy or assualt mech and both times a very heavy energy output. dome shaped head but a v shaped visor area. the reason i am mentioning this is because i have destroyed it by headshot each time i have seen it by shooting the bottom of the visor area just above the v junction. can you guys tell me what it is beci dont have one myself

There are quite a few with dome shaped heads, but a v shape on the face does narrow it down a bit. Perhaps a NovaCat or a Black Knight? Check on the end screen after the match for a list of what the other team fielded.

My guess is hot tomato.

Either way, I don't think you can report yourself.

who said anything about reporting myself. giving it to the mech community as a glaring weakspot to aim for

Go and look in this thread with mech paperdoll + cockpit hitbox, which is basically what you are looking for:

Good luck!

It sounds like Black Knight or Crusader.

It's obviously Stormcrow.

Although the Stormcrow can hit hard, it is still five tons shy of the heavy 'Mech category. Posted Image

The Nova Cat or the Night Gyr would fit the description, but they lack the "V" shaped cockpit. The Executioner maybe?

Ok, I figured most folks here wouldn't get the joke. A long time ago, back when Wizards of the Coast had forums, someone was asking about a card name based upon a description of what it did.

His description pretty much perfectly described Morphling.

Posted Image

However, the poster insisted it was not Morphing. After dozens of posts wherein many forum users said it was most likely Morphling and the OP in question repeatedly said it wasn't, someone decided to get sarcastic and say it was Storm Crow.

Posted Image

Although obviously wrong, a lot of folks jumped on it and just said something along the lines of, "Oh, yeah, it's totally Storm Crow." It became a niche meme on the forum, brought up in numerous threads. In fact, as a legacy of this, the discussion section for the card in Gatherer (WotC's publicly available/searchable Magic card database) is dominated by tongue-in-cheek comments about the card.

Something about having to explain the joke makes it not funny, right? ;)

Well, it sorta' translates because we do have a Stormcrow in this game. Granted, though, that the Stormcrow doesn't suck in MWO. (I mean, it's not meta, but it's still a fast, high-end medium with min-maxed structural options and a good selection of hard points.)
