I have been absent for, I have no idea how long. I've noticed the changes in the game. It's still a beautiful game and has only become better IMO.
One thing that hasn't change, ok two things. I'm still not very good at playing and I still cannot leave spawn without being damaged by my allies....OMFG. Really? Do you have to walk through my freaking leg causing damage coming out of spawn??? AT THE VERY START OF THE GAME, LEG DAMAGE FROM AN ALLY. It makes me a grump the entire match, ok so I'm freaking old, you young whippersnappers need to learn how to drive (shakes fist).
Thank you for allowing me to vent.
I do really like this game.

Just play any way you like it and deploy in any 'Mech you have. Let PSR do its work.

You are playing a game where 50-point alpha strikes are nothing exceptional. You really do not have to care about losing 1 point of leg armor in the drop zone.

A warm welcome back to MWO!

Yeah, one of my pet peeve is players running into you and damaging your legs... but it's usually only "1" damage, so not much to write home about...

Welcome back!

Stop worrying about damage in spawn, it is not anything to worry about. Just robs you of fun, and distracts you for the rest of the game. Those bumps = mech high-fives Posted Image . " Like - have a good game buddy! " One more down low, **BAM**.

Other points.
FYI. Skill Tree is more like an old module approach, if you know what I am talking about. It is more sensible than the original skill tree fiasco.

Don't fall back from the group during matches. Lights will eat you.

The paper doll is funny with its damage grading in that even the slightest bit of damage will colour it yellow. So if it's any consolation, you probably only took a point or two at the very most. Welcome back!

Probably only a fraction of a point, actually.

This.
If you have ever actually tried to ram someone to death (out of ammo/weapons/too close to shoo) it takes insane amount ramming to do any damage.
