Just wanted to say thank you to the community in general. I created a MWO account years ago, don't remember ever playing. Maybe I made it during launch and it wasn't really stable at the time and I put it on the shelf - for about ten years. But a month or so ago a friend of mine said "hey, let's try this out."

I was a bit reluctant, most online PvP games are full of kids screaming about "720 no scope headshot ur mom lulz," and that's just not my thing. But that's not the experience I've had here at MWO at all. The community here is amazing.

People are friendly, there's some silly banter, if someone has a plan and wants to coordinate then a decent amount of people will go along with it and see what happens. I've had more experienced players spectate while I run around, tossing out some pointers, and that's made all the difference. Every game has someone willing to answer a question or two.

So, thanks, everyone. You're the best.

If you like light 'Mechs, maybe you should try to get VT-5S Vulcan. The Vulcan is a mobile low-end medium 'Mech and in some respects it plays almost as a light 'Mech.
