I have to say that I play 2ERPPC time to time and even prefer SHC-Prime to D variant I found that I miss ECM on this mech (m8 getting too much used to play PPC poptart/harasher)

Just so long as it has an adjective for its animal, it'll do ok - but if you don't have an adjective, watch out! Widowmaker, Wolverine... even Wolf was all but annihilated, with part of it going into exile, and part reforming on a technicality due to plot armor.

The lesson is clear: always have an adjective for your animals.

i find 2 ermediums and single ppc does better

Depends on the playstyle - 900+ range is nice to have for me, I play it this way. ER meds forcing me to stay around 400m

Just in case anyone had doubts- UAC5+UAC2 build is absolutely terrible. Even with the P right arm.and torso for the ballistic quirks, it just doesn't have DPS to achieve much. No velocity or jam quirks to be had hurts. You can do 3 x UAC2 with the P right arm for the ammo quirk... it's a little light on ammo- under 600 rounds with quirks and skills- but sort of workable, if you're into punishing yourself and your team.

I'll still keep it as ballistics, because why not.

OK OK OK -- i CAN help, the new mech you will get, was once known for 2 PPCs, i ran one on the walls for some time and loved it, sure you can build that -- with omni PODS,
but you can ALSO build 1 with 3 ER LARGE lasers, and maybe ECM, and you can learn to shoot all 3, or with 2 buttons shoot 2 and 1 lagged behind, max the armor out, and full heat reduce, I CALL IT learn to build, find a wingman -- LOL 2 vipers, 1 artic cheeda and shadow cat with 3 er large would ROCK : ), nice lance got kill unit : )

1. Everytime you visit the MWO web page, you see the carousel showing the latest news.
These days, it often starts with this big announcement:


2. Even if you do not get the big picture, there is a smaller embedded image:


3. No matter what the carousel shows, there is always the big button marked "EVENTS" on the top of the front page:


4. Every time you log into the game, you get this splash screen showing the last news.
Frequently it starts with this announcement:



5. Even if there is some other announcement, you can see the link to the free 'Mech event page on the right side of the news box ...

There are some other - less used - ways how to find some info regarding the MWO events, but I think that those six ways, that I have listed above, are really accessible.

I think that unless you are actively avoiding MWO events, you always have some easy way of knowing what is going on.

Perhaps you should check what happened to the rest of the ELH during the Jihad before saying that "the rest of the Light Horse went on just fine."

The CGL's attempt to resurrect them is just a poor attempt to milk the fans on their favorite Mary Sue, just like in the case of the resurrected GDL.
