I like the idea of adding a mech repair bay or two to incursion

also add an ammo dump for resupply of ammo

also add reactor explosions and a radius and amount of damage that increases based upon the size of the engine

Something I've thought about at times.

8v8 or 12v12 quick play but with a drop deck like faction but can be made up of Clan and IS mixed. Not one side vs. the other

Drop deck must be made up of 1 light, 1 medium, 1 Heavy, 1 Assault. Match's would be 20 minutes max.

As for Modes-that is another headache entirely.

Assault with turrets back would be nice so you can't just sit on the base and click the timer down. You are going to have to do some work to stay alive and take it. But then both sides would just sit on their base.

Incursion can go, it's just skirmish with extra steps that are mostly ignored until one team is dead and the winning side can go clean up.

Domination- Well I have no good ideas for that. Maybe make it like a king of the hill type game where the player on a VERY much reduced size capture zone must be destroyed or made to flee that point to stop the timer count down, also maybe a longer timer.

Skirmish- Needs to have some kind of alternate objective. Maybe like if no damage is being done to either team after a set time that it ends with the team having the most members still alive. Nothing sucks like when some stealth light or whatever hides and shuts down to wait out the timer to preserve that precious K/D ratio or whatever their reasoning is.

Conquest is fine IMO, but it needs some more reward for following the capture point objectives. Like a reward for recapturing a caputured point by the opposing team. No points during the first maybe 3 minutes of the match while teams can get into position. Points for defending your teams cap points. In all just a better reward for objectives done, and not just annhilating the other team as fast as you can and then capping like mad before the timers run up to max.

Theoreticule:
Capture the flag is an interesting concept- Here is my go at it. Have the SINGLE flag at a fixed or random point on the map after a set time. One team must safely find and get the flag back to their own base by yes I'm going to say it-escorting the mech that has it. If the mech that is carrying it is destroyed the flag respawns back at a fixed/random location and the process starts over. Having the qp drop deck would help negate everyone playing super fast light mechs and being a ringer for this mode. The spawn point also could have a flashing general area on the battle map that would have to be explored to find it.

A lot more would have to be sorted out on the mode above.

Just thought I contribute some ideas. I haven't been around that long. I know quick play is suppose to be quick but some changes to it would maybe bring people back or keep people around longer. I don't know just some ideas. There are other good ones on here as well. Just thought I'd add my 2 c-bills.

One last thought- to avoid 12 man pre-made groups or however many taking over and people getting bumped out of line like in Faction, keep the MM as it is now along with the PSR rules intact.

In the flag game, everyone follows the herd. Those who don't follow become prey. In SKIRMISH and ASSAULT, people hang out freely. disperses.

Do you know what is the good side of the games? to do things you can't in real life.

I'm playing this game. Because I choose the attack style myself.
I choose my machine myself. I can personalize it.
I can paint the color I want.
I can use the weapon I want.
If you take this, I won't play this game.

This is something very simple to understand. I'm sure many of you understand this.

many things can happen.

It could be deathmatch. (12x) (24x) (50x) (100x) players, larger maps.

AI can be war. , mechs, tanks, submarines, (wave can be defensive.) (wave1) (wave2) .etc

complete darkness (vision vision custom maps) (headlights)

underwater battles (custom maps) (may be dlc pack)

technical maps (no texture)

protection duties. (machine or city)

armed drones (could be dlc pack)

swamp map, cliff maps deadly traps.

I'm against deleting anything. Let's add something.

matchmaker is pissing me off these days.

I choose the light mech. for close range. large map is selected.
I choose the assulth mech. for long distance. small map is selected.

this is very bad thing. How will I build a machine?
How should I choose a weapon?

Even colors are useless.
On a snowy map, white is a beautiful color, a good choice.
but not on a black map.

red provides a nice camouflage among the lava.
but it is very evident in the snow.

green is beautiful in a forest, among the grass.
but it is very evident in the snow.

It is possible to multiply examples.

Match maker is not very good at anything except putting two 12 person teams together, it doesn't balance tonnage or equipment.

The ability to add saved loadouts was added, it would be nice to be able to choose which of those you want to play based upon map and game type, yes?

Camouflage does nothing in game terms, as soon as the "red Dorito" appears over your head.

It would be nice to choose a machine according to the map, yes.
Imagine destroying someone from a distance with sml pulse lasers.
very difficult.

new maps can bring new modes.
tough conditions would be nice. Water, desert, swamp, dark (but not simple, difficult)

I don't think level matters in deathmatch.
In an area where there are too many machines, it can be good or bad.
I have not escaped from anyone in the game until today. :)

One would think the new modes would need to be developed prior to maps, they keep making maps without new modes...
