Sorry, Not Sorry About Your Rear Ct

If you run through someone else's firing line While they are firing you are more than likely going to get blasted!
Especially if you show up at around 80 kph and full stop in front of the guns!
They don't want to shoot you (probably) or TK you (mostly) because guess what?
That drags down their match score, deprives the team of a much needed (friendly?) mech and can lead to losing the match.
I know there's an event going on and I for one really want that Dire Wolf!
So to the veteran fp player that ran into my firing line and got nearly cored...sorry not sorry, but if it's any consolation my match score got blasted harder than you did!

But whilst im here, can some of you please learn to check your fire? Im fine if I move into a friends line of fire and am hit, but when im standing there and an enemy appears there is no excuse for unloading into me.

Yeah thats true. But faster teammates can just walk in front of your assault mechs massive firepower and there is nothing the assault can do to stop them or prevent the problem in many cases, so it has to stop firing or shoot the team mate in the back.
If that happens to me, i do generally make an effort to stop firing or move so im not hitting them (whilst yelling something like 'GET OUT OF THE WAY, MORON at the screen, lol), but i see it a lot at the end of matches and it seems almost intentional in some cases (trying to 'kill steal'). If i think someone is blocking me intentionally to try and claim kills at the end of a match, im not going to stop shooting. If they die, its their own fault.

Some not just step in my fire but then park down there... Even comment it "nicely"... QP could be funny sometimes...
Occasionally it happens that I move into the wrong time to the wrong place and got some "friendly tap" to my back. I know in such cases that I were the ****** and not comment like: "shot mah back yer ******?!"

i do find assaults with low arms tend to be better at fighting off lights though.

more natural terrain would help this by a great deal. not valleys with 80 degree slopes just suspiciously the right size for a single mech. softer more natural hills where 3 or 4 mechs can position on the slopes all without walking in front of each other or crowding each others shots. while being able to operate neatly in a very confined area is an essential skill, it really shouldn't have to be.
sometimes i get caught in sombody's beam or lead stream, and i usually roll it off. and it was my fault, but its often neccisary to get into a useful position rather than stuck between a rock and a rac.

Random jerk runs in front of me, takes a few shots
then starts backing up. Gets angry I'm in their way.
uh, alpha strike "oh excuse me, did I core out your backside"

its why i often put more back armor than most folks on my mechs that way a single AC/20 missfire won't kil me (ok it will strip all my armor and do structure damage but it wont be a kill shot.)

Honestly makes me want to drop a full set of srm6 alpha right across their back and punch in the announcement "Thanks."

What I hate...
1. firing at your mates in the spawn area - especially not apologizing and in the worst case have a cheeky reply on your lips when someone complains when you shoot him
2. stand behind a mate despite there is a huge area where you could park your mech and then this poor dude has to eat the alphas of a couple of mechs because he cannot move back
These are unfortunately no rare occasions.

I like the guys that swing around you and park when you've been drawing a target to come around a corner into the team. Then want to pop out to push but not far enough both of you can go.
