Can We Skip The 1V1 Next Time?

Even dropping with random strangers is more fun than 1v1.
At the time of this post, we have 11 hours of 43 minutes of 1v1 playing in Event Queue...
What a waste of time, when we could be doing 2v2.

TBH all of those events could be both at same time unless technical limitations (no coding ability) are not allowing it, meaning 1v1 and 2v2 running same time and you queue one of those, should still have enough people for both.

eq has proven pretty useful thus far. but i still havent seen stock mode, or siege/scouting or any of the other dead modes. i kind of think it should be able to eat everything as it falls into disuse.

I'm testing my machine builds here.
If one weapon fails, I place the other.
I learn good machines according to their classes here.

custom games are always an option, so you could always set them up if you wanted to do your own tournament bracket.

But why not run them simultaneously?
People who need to drop with other people can go do that and leave the people who want to play solo against other solo players can at least do that a few weekends out of the year.

I think its awful, but it doesn't really come up that much and I'm pretty sure the 1 vs 1 guys don't actually get their way THAT often.
It won't kill guys like me to just take a hard pass on the EQ when its running anything smaller than 8 vs 8; quickplay is always available.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed that even with triple XP and MC, tiny matches pay out very little at all compared to 12 v 12, so people grinding for XP or MC or even match score are going to be sticking with quickplay anyways.

I got the coof full blown the second day of this last one (hurray!), can't say I tracked xp and didn't know that you could earn any mc through it at all but as far as c-bills goes 1v1 (even most 2v2) vastly outpaces QP. I probably netted 12-14m cbills in the matches I managed to slog through on thursday evening with a head full of knock out drugs.

I don't recall the exact c-bills, but ~200k give or take a little for a loss and 4-480k range on wins was what I was seeing. More or less the same as what I'd make in QP with mediums and a fraction of the time. Not that there's any more mediums I'm interested in so c-bills are kind of just a thing now anyhow.
