I understand you.. but if there's a purpose, it's an effort.
It is more enjoyable to reach the difficult one.
It also makes the normal game more enjoyable.
If you think about it, you count every shot you make.

It would be nice to have it appear in game.

We love loot bags so this is great! That said most free mechs are around 10-15k match score. You made this 30k in less than 30 days which is a tall order for some of the newer players. I thought of a few quick things you could do to address this if you're open to it.

• Consider damage instead - 30k damage would be easier to come by and easier to track
  
• Consider 20k instead
  
• Extend the event period

I know this is a hero mech so I get that it's a bit harder. But since you don't have the loot bags for damage (i.e. less loot bags and more grinding) this might make it a little better. I know you have less resources but I'm trying to give pointers from a lower tier player (T4) that has brought in a number of people (most still new) to the game. Good: It's a hero mech for free

Bad: 30k Match score (and only match score) is a lot to expect people to play in a reasonable time period, especially as queue times are longer lately.

Also just an opinion-why does it seem like all the seal clubbers come out during the monthly mech event. I've been getting just destroyed lately in t5 qp matches.....oh well such is MWO.

How does one buy the 200GSP for the bonus loot? I saw it in the gift store but not in regular store. I mean I see it in the in-game store for MC. Does that count?

i.e. MWOmercs.com > Events > Luck Charms from drop down menu > redeem page for MS and victory items (link somewhere on this page)

They are basically what you are suggesting and you can even go for 1000 impossible headshots!

You buy the gift 200 gsp and apply the gift code to your account. I've done it many times during lootbag events.

Some people are more casual at the game and/or have time constraints. For the average player it's 90-120 games. (250-333 match score per). So like 15-20 hours of gameplay (with queues)

Just a question. I thought when you bought content listed in the loot bag event that it counted towards the award in this case the mech. I purchased the Moonwalker and the Juggernaut and though I recieved the loot bags it didn't effect the count for the mech. Is this correct or do I have a bug?

It only counted for the loot bags, not the free Mech.

Yhea.... why didnt the bonus redeems count towards the free mech? They always did before.

MS alone is much to grindy for people with busy lives as it is :/

As a person with a family and a full time 3rd shift job, I got to agree. 5-10 days more would not go amiss for those of us without much free time to grind but that still support the game with purchase of mech packs and such.
