In 2nd grade I wrote a Mechwarrior short story and had Mechwarrior 3's intro as my books intro word-for-word. When the teacher (who knew nothing about MW or BattleTech) reviewed my short story and gave it back the only feedback I got was "The intro of the book was really good; however, the rest of the book wasn't written as well". My game campaign writing career was crushed at a very early age.

Actually toilets do not flush in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere.

I had a similar experience once at young age, but I know one thing for sure : Miss Teacher was 100% WRONG !!!
