Judging by the unnecessary buffs, I'd guess the direwolf is making them money too rn, lol (yes I realize it's just the comp guys in the cauldron trying to buff their pet farm mech, and pgi should feel ashamed their letting the cauldron do this crap).
The DWF buffs are to standardize it so that variants other than the C are worth playing. The DWF-C is the really strong one and it hasn't been improved here. None of these buffs make the DWF net stronger, they just let other variants be worthwhile. Those won't break the game because its specifically 2GR+4ERLL on that C that is turbo farming. This was a good change because other variants of a chassis shouldn't be punished because 1 is strong. (I do think 2GR+4ERLL on the C is too strong.)

Iunno. Moonwalker will definitely sell if that was the aim.
Oh, the quirks and mounts on its mechDB profile aren't its real quirks. That is from an earlier version that was found in the game files, probably before they did quirks. The real quirks we know from the screenshot in the patch notes. Its just 50% MG range and 25% MG RoF. There's no ECM or mounts other than the 8 ballistics.

Moonwalker needs a "Thriller" warhorn. I would think all it would need is the first two notes of the song to be instantly recognizable. Then again that might be enough to be a copyright violation. Oh well.
Alas, the proper "I'm the Juggernaut B****!" warhorn that the Juggernaut deserves, would certainly never be acceptable to PGI even if they could get around the potential IP hazards. So much potential wasted.

Perhaps this picture will make you take up the team balance.
Everything is great here:
- and balance in terms of the quality of players in teams;
- and balance by the presence and number of groups in teams;
- and the balance of mech tonnage in teams.
Gg, PGI.
P.S. I hope you feel at least a little bit of shame in front of the people on my "team".

And this is a screenshot from my second fight.
I know for sure one guy who could spend the evening in the game today, but did not do it because of your matchmaker.
I'm waiting for you once again with sad faces to complain about the lack of online.
Where is the large version of those screenshots ?!

The more I see it, the more a lot of it seems to be hitbox/reg issues, but it also has far too much armor either way (it's as much as most medium mechs).
Spread damage weapons don't seem to spread (hit multiple boxes) most of the time and only do partial damage to the box they do register on. Also the legs for some reason don't seem to take full damage either, its not uncommon to dump 3-4+ of 5+ mpl/spl rounds into their legs and barely change the color - even if they had full armor on top of the quirks that much short burst should be legging easily. -Kind of sad when it's faster to fully leg a 100 ton mech with full armor than take a single leg off of one 35 ton mech with fat legs.
Trashcan has always been weird and some variants tank damage better than others...
Many Lights are in general very buggy when it comes to hitboxes so we just leg them!

Lol the MAD II is IS and is one of the most durable mechs in the game. And Anni and DWF are two of the best mechs in the game. Shows how much you understand what's going on.

Quirks are being used to compensate for bad hardpoints and hitboxes, catch IS up to clan, and in some cases, specialize a variant into some particular loadout to give it a useful role. You can dislike this, but saying it isn't what they are supposed to do is meaningless. There's no rule that says that, and that is what is being done.

Like I said, it's often faster to fully leg a 100 ton assault than take a single one off of a trashcan. Had one jump up right in front of me last night and take a double tap of uac20 and 3 cycles of spl to one leg and it didn't even take the armor off. And that's after chasing it and pulsing up it's legs for a good minute already.

why, ecm doesnt bring too much to the build. your optimal ranges are outside of sensor range anyways. and now with the w ct, its more heat capacity and 10% balistic velocity. up to 15% total as far as i can tell. quick question, did they want to make the gauss rifles hitscan too? it seems like a buff if you know positioning, and nothing is changing if you dont. so its a buff to their favorite build, because they all know how to position themselves to be just at optimal range.
edit. oh ya, they also all got a massive armour quirk buff on almost all the torso omnipods. ya, definetly makes sense.

yea its pretty strange, cant tell the reason either.first i thought its a ping issue or inability of the game engine with very high speeds to make shots register... but i tried with my bro in a private lobby (so online enviorment) and when he landed a hit with his assault on my piranha he told me, and i was hit allways when he said so.took one alpha strike and right torso was gone instantly (bro also had ac20 and ppc´s).so really cant tell whats the problem there, and there IS A PROBLEM, obviously
