Its more that the main skill in this game is simply understanding the mechanics and applying that to mech builds and positioning. As such, its entirely possible to learn and improve - Its not like a lot of other FPS games where you need incredible twitch reaction skills to excel, because of limits to mech agility.
However, a lot of people refuse to even attempt to do that and demand that the game be dumbed down to their level instead, which is annoying.
This thread is a perfect example, with higher tier players saying the hitboxes are better because its actually possible to use defensive tactics to keep yourself alive longer and lower tier players (who probably stare too much) saying its worse and demanding it be changed back, rather than taking advice on board and trying to see if altering their playstyle will improve results.
Bunch of damned snobs. I'm sorry I'm only a tier 2, and I disagree with you. A bunch of you seem to be on board with whatever they do. They could take the legs off your mech, call it an improvement, and you'd shake your heads and agree, while talking down to the plebs. This isn't going to go anywhere. There's to many people taking in the broken wind. Thanks for your time. I added my opinion, but I don't play with with people [color=#959595]

The constant defense that well we the good players say this, but the bad players... the ones that may need up to a year to learn how to drive this mech redesign. If it'll take a year for average players to relearn, I think that's the problem. I know I'm wrong, and I'm just terrible. Obviously. You people are infallible, and all knowing. I bow to your wisdom, thank you for showing me that my ways are wrong, and inferior.
Thanks the check engine light. mistakes were made
