I tested in both QP and FP, both were fine.

I've only had the Arges in my drop deck once after equipping the helmet of doom. I will try again later and post back. I recoloured the helmet which may be related to the issue.

Is it supposed to do that? On one hand I'm kind of impressed they modeled the inside of a Corinthian-style helmet like that, but...

The issue could be due to a different resolution. It's worth trying

No it's not.
I even vaguely remember I-don't-remember-who saying it won't change the vision.

I'm in 2560*1440.

It could make for a funny challenge-video though losing those lower left and right fields would bother the hell out of me as much as the nasal blocking the dead-center. In a tall Assault having that lower periphery vision blocked is nervewracking.

I'm in 2560*1440.

As you can notice, many menus, images, fonts, and animations in the game are in 16:9 format. Perhaps the issue stems from this.

PHOTON's screenshot is in 16:9, so it's not an exotic format (actually the most common one: 1980*1080px)

I can't think of anything else. These helmets seem familiar to me, as if I've seen them before. I remember there were similar issues.

You can combine the two wings sticker and add a jet engine. With the given addions, it becomes like a Boeing.

I took a screenshot with the white decal, changed it to black took another screenshot without moving the mech so they are identical except for the color.
the screenshot with the black decal is on an layer set to 30% opacity above the screenshot with the white decal.
what looks like sand/dark earth color is the black decal on 30 opacity and you can see the white around it from the larger white decal on the screenshot underneath. It doesn't look much but it's a pretty big difference if it's not obscured by the relatively low resolution that I run MWO with.

also currently the seraph has more bonus armor on the arms 12 vs 8/
