I already have killed over 12 clans and is mechs in Faction Play. Why its still locked?

Try the Event Page and see if it works there. There seem to be multiple players that had it working on the event page when it did not in the ingame event thing.

This is what Faction Play is all about, Units and groups of friends dropping together. Not like Quick Play just mindless nascar.

Then good luck with your hour long wait times, because that's what you'll be going back to once the event is over, and no one is being bribed to play with you!

Face it, your game mode was a in a coma before this event, and if there isn't drastic change that's where it will stay. Clearly PGI has figured this out, hence why they put a pork chop around your nec... I mean held this event in the first place. It's all about data mining, and feedback on why so few want to join FP in the first place. Some of these things they'll be able to fix, like reworking maps that are nothing but a series of long, narrow, shooting ranges, interspaced with chokepoints; or making the DZ out of bounds for enemy teams to prevent drop farming. Other problems, possibly the single biggest problem they'll face though isn't so easy to fix, and that's the "This game is for groups, and you deserve to be farmed for daring to come here scrub" attitude you're displaying right now.

And on a side note, do you know why "Mindless NASCAR" is so popular in QP? Because it leads to fast, violent, in your face, hectic BRAWLS, which are fun! It's the exact opposite of the glacially slow, peak & poke from the other side of the map, sniper/LURM slurm bull$#!+ gameplay FP in notorious for.

Basically a good event, but unfortunately some of the well-known groups didn't understand that it's also about getting more people excited about the FP. In your groups of 10, you turn against event players, farm them mercilessly and drive them out of the FP in the long term.
Well chance not recognized or your own EGO too big, either way these groups killed the faction game and now they are doing it again.

While games without these groups were a lot of fun, games against such groups destroy more than just the fun.

It's the same as in QP, groups should play vs. groups and solo players should be able to avoid it, and if you think you have to have a group of 10/12 ... you should also accept the corresponding waiting times until an opponent group of the same size is found.

The only helpful thing here would be that there can be a maximum of 4 groups and that group registrations are not allowed to select a side but are randomly distributed to both sides.

But let's be honest none of this will happen, the FP will disappear again and the players who "abuse" such events will whine again about long waiting times -- your own fault

If you are getting farmed at spawn giving dropships instagib lasers with 2k range won't help you win the game.

I don't want to blame well-intentioned players, but some players are insensitive.
First and foremost, not everyone enjoys team play. This is a team game, but there is a significant portion of players who don't enjoy team play. You cannot deny that.
Even if I choose to play as a team, I can't communicate with you because I don't know the language you're using.

You're saying, 'Why aren't you playing as a team?' You wanted to retreat, you said it to your team. I don't understand.
You said you wanted to attack a player, or you told me to attack. I don't understand this.

Thanks for the event. I haven´t played for years because of the wait time. Felt good to be back on the old maps.

And for the salty and whiny people who only enjoy nascar and no teamplay. FP isn´t for you so just stay in QP. Stop trying to get the problems from QP into FP by crying in this forum. You have no idea how epic a fight between two organized groups with twelve players is. And how utterly dumb and boring QP is compared to FP.

I don't care if the team is still going to lose; an organized, optimized group should win. I just want some fighting action for dealing with the FP que. That gives some entertainment and provides some reward progress.

PGI wants feedback to try to rehabilitate the mode. Feedback: People don't like being target dummies who get nothing.

I know enough English to navigate the internet, but speaking fluently and engaging in real-time conversation is different. Would you try playing a game in a different language? Would you try to be understood within a group that uses a different language? It's very challenging. I don't use your language in my daily life to be able to speak fluently and understand you.

I do play game in a different language than my own, I'm not native English speaker nor do I live in country that English has any kind of official status. But I did put some effort to learn English because it is extremely useful to be decent with (I'm far from fluent).

PGI should know that FP never was and never will be a mode for everyone. FP is about groups, teamplay and strategy. The majority of the MWO players just want to go "pewpew" for a few seconds, die and get to the next game.
