2. Noted that Juggernaut Legendary mech purchase would give you Loot Bags!

You folks sure like your Bonus Redeems and we sure do appreciate all the support In that spirit I will get them to add loot bag bonus redeems for purchases/gifts of the Juggernaut and Moonwalker made after the Lucky Charms Deadline as folks who bought / redeemed before or during the Lucky Charms would have already received Lucky Charms Loot Bags.

I’m still waiting on a “Legend Mech” that catches my eye. The Marauder IIc almost had me.
Might consider a Legend Black knight, or Firestarter if it was offered

So we can't redeem our first mech until phase 3? That's a little disappointing, I mean if this is covering free mechs for June through August, then the June mech won't hit the mech bay until mid July at the earliest. Still it's 4 mechs instead of 3, and it's out pick off of the hero list at that, so pros outweigh cons.

I love this event and think it's great that it lasts so long.

Do I understand correctly that I can still play each phase later, i.e. phase 1 even after the start of phase 3?

Then I can get to work after the summer vacation without my wife getting mad ^^

Yes if you start playing at the beginning of Phase 4 (July 26th 00:00 UTC) you will be earning Loot bags for all 4 Challenges Phases.
You will have until August 22nd at 00:00 UTC to earn all your loot bags and until Sept 1st to redeem all loot bags and Pick a Prize Heroes.

Should be plenty of time to earn everything!

Interesting that you could just complete phase 4 and complete the other 3 phases... Shouldn't it be each phase by itself and one ending when another starts? Otherwise someone could just wait until the end to do it all? Either way, cool event, bought my legend mech now and ready for it to start. Thank you for everything so far PGI, the objectives (events) make it alot of fun.

The overlap and stacking of Phases is meant to enable those who have important things needing doing (or simply can not play at the start for some other reason) to join in later and enjoy the Beach Party 2023 Event as well. I personally applaud this approach as it invites the maximum number of players possible to get in the Queues over time, and make things crescendo as time keeps flowing along. Even further, those who want it a little quiet up front get their thing, and those who want absolute maximum loaded madness also get theirs as time goes on. Of course, we must not forget those who have something happen in the middle and would get chopped out if things were not set up in an overlapping stack like this, as the best they can do is rejoining later on, and they thankfully get included too. Expect during early Phase 4 (and to a lesser extent, early Phase 3 as well) to see the absolute maximum chaos happening on the battlefields, as the MatchMaker should have the most players to work with during that spot.

It basically near-fully avoids what would happen if most people are told "Oh, you can not play right now? Sorry, but you must miss out!" and feel completely disinterested because they were wrongfully & needlessly blocked via what I refer to as "Pressure Cooker Timing" from a reasonable chance at full participation. About the only group they do not cover here is those who want to do it all up-front and then walk off for the rest of the time, but that kind of people would likely be the ones which really hurt the Queues & MatchMaker functioning properly. Like geez, 'CwStrife', did you not see the post two above yours (and one above 'Matt Newman' who you replied to) by 'The Chancelor' along this same thread of thought? Would you really want to cause unnecessary disruption in the marriages & relationships of other people? They simply do not get a choice in these matters as to what time they have if their life is to remain in balance, and not forcibly torn down by those not so interested in MWO who will penalize for being ignored!

redeemed 300 loot bags for buying all the first six legendries via redeem all button (thanks pgi for adding that). bought the 2 new legendries a couple hours ago. didn't get the extra 100 bags. glitch?

e: seems to have corrected itself. i got all of them.

can you please add the catapult butterbee to the rewards? is the only Hero Mech I'm missing in my collection, and also the only Hero Mech missing as a reward.

In same Boat I got 300 out of 325. I got 4 legendries and Stone Rhino so 300points but also got 1 custom Platinum pack (25 points) and am missing those 25.

They'll probably update it later

seems to have fixed itself. i think i had to put games on the mechs to update the system. then they showed up an hour later.

could have swore i saw one in there. they arent sorted well (or at all), so you might have to hunt for it.

I was wondering why grinding loot bags seemed so slow; checked the website and its 200 match score for a loot bag instead of the normal 100....pretty slow going.

Would it be too difficult to provide clickable links to the loot bags from the event page? I honestly don't understand why it is always so difficult to click through to the right event or redemption page. UX doesn't take much more than a little forethought. That said, looking forward to the event!
