In same Boat I got 300 out of 325. I got 4 legendries and Stone Rhino so 300points but also got 1 custom Platinum pack (25 points) and am missing those 25.

They'll probably update it later

seems to have fixed itself. i think i had to put games on the mechs to update the system. then they showed up an hour later.

can you please add the catapult butterbee to the rewards? is the only Hero Mech I'm missing in my collection, and also the only Hero Mech missing as a reward.

could have swore i saw one in there. they arent sorted well (or at all), so you might have to hunt for it.

I was wondering why grinding loot bags seemed so slow; checked the website and its 200 match score for a loot bag instead of the normal 100....pretty slow going.

Would it be too difficult to provide clickable links to the loot bags from the event page? I honestly don't understand why it is always so difficult to click through to the right event or redemption page. UX doesn't take much more than a little forethought. That said, looking forward to the event!

I hope this works out with your Summer Vacation.

I think for a lot of people it won't and that it would probably be better to stretch the event until the 22nd of September Posted Image

Another thing is the fact that it's SUMMER and sitting in my room behind the PC while it's hot outside isn't what the SUMMER is meant for exactly! LOL! Posted Image

Today it's only the second day with a bit of rain here after at least 3 weeks of sunshine and I am expecting things to get even warmer! ;)

Another fact is that a lot of people will simply be on their vacation during July and August so having the Event stop the 22nd of August is pretty much the worst date you could pick since a lot of people will either be on vacation or just getting home from it on that day! Posted Image

Looks like it's about time I walked in on this conversation... Let's deal out a curb-stomp on those who are so negative towards this Event's elements and the future ahead, eh? :)
(And by the way, 'Matt Newman', THANK YOU again for this wonderful "Big Beach Party 2023" Loot Bags Event!!!)

Hello there, 'Roodkapje' & ''... Are you telling everyone who can see your posts that you would rather LOSE the additional September Event that our friendly 'Matt Newman' is intending to launch in the future? That would mean instead of having a rather impressive FIVE MECHS in four months time to enjoy, then you prefer giving one up and dropping to earning ONLY FOUR MECHS in four months? Last time that I had checked in terms of Months-to-Mechs ratios, five-fourths is greater than four-fourths, and we should all be thoroughly appreciating what Matt has decided to do here! He most certainly gets my salute & thumbs-up here, making me wish that I had both an appropriate pair of Emojis to use in these Forums, and a matching re-colorable pair of Decals to use on Mechs in the game. We have enough time here, plentiful in droves, and this entire "Big Beach Party 2023" Event is far more than I have ever thought of clamoring for. THIS IS LITERALLY NO TIME TO BE HAVING ANY KIND OF NEGATIVE TILT ABOUT THE EVENT WHICH IS RUNNING!!!

Plus, do you both REALLY want to be out there in the Heat for a while getting sunburns which require tons of time laid down resting, sand in your toes which you would have to clean out later, scrapes caused by falls needing many a bandage, and all that nutty junk? And do you also REALLY think that many people get vacations which last anywhere at all near as long anymore, and would run past this Event's timeframe too? (By the way, the answer on that one is a "NO!" in all its' juicy glory...) I most certainly shall not want that madness, neither would others, and nobody needs the associated headaches from the downtime caused by wearing the body too thin! Be happy that you're getting to hunker down with your computer and Mechs to pilot, safely covered in Real Life by the cool & shade of your homes, all while you're earning even more in MWO's environment to enjoy! I am not personally committed to or invested in either an extension or a separate September event. I see the merits of both and I don't personally have the luxury of extra free time being a shut-in, away from the sweltering heat during the summer.

...so I wish you all the best. Here's to a hope that maybe I will see you in-game at some point on the same Team during "Big Beach Party 2023" albeit I don't know what Tier you're in, and suggest you keep a cool drink plus nice sun-blocking umbrella on you so that you're neither dehydrated nor sunburned. :)

I guess that my ability to read everything into a post which I should is lacking a little. That's what I get for living in an existence where trying to read too much into things has put me in metaphorical "hot water" a few too many times. Different strokes for not-so-similar folks, right? :P

So am I right in thinking these can be completed concurrently in times they overlap? Or are they sequential?

To answer your question in one word... "Concurrently" B)

(... EDIT :: By the way, your post gets a definite +'Like' from me due to incurring constructive provision of information! :D ...)

As a longer explanation... They will initialize and start running sequentially. However, one launching will not terminate another at that point. They are very comfortably designed to concurrently stack & overlap all the way to the end of the Event's time period. So in short...
  • When what has been set up for Phase 2 is running, the previous Phase will still be active.
  • When what has been set up for Phase 3 is running, both previous Phases will still be active.
  • When what has been set up for Phase 4 is running, all 3 previous Phases will still be active.
...and therefore once all of the Phases are running, a period of time will first pass, and then they will all terminate on the same date in the future. This allows maximum opportunity for participation, allows people to get important things (and any sudden emergencies) out of the way first if needs be, and creates a massive crescendo towards the end of the "Big Beach Party 2023" Event because things start out quieter (which is also helpful to some types of people too) but then have players coming in from all sides with the last Phase being where things could turn the most chaotic for everyone. Ultimately, everyone's experience should turn out quite fun because that can enable the MatchMaker to get enough players for allocation & building of matches which we all then play. Only time will tell what the future holds... :)

About the only thing which literally EVERYONE who plays in this Event needs to beware is the short time limit afterwards to get everything unpacked... Otherwise people may miss out on some of what they earned, and losing any of that would not be quite so fun.

~D. V. "It all stacks during BBP2023 for maximum fun which everyone can enjoy!" Devnull

(p.s.: I'm thankful they have made this the general format of Loot Bag Events for quite some time now, and I hope they NEVER reverse this positive change! Trouble loves to knock at my door – and those of other people – far more often than I should ever have to think about!)

Could you please explain why in this thread without giving away too many personal details, so that those at PGI who made the "Big Beach Party 2023" Event can understand you better, and therefore improve the Event construction going forward? Who knows... It might even lead to someone providing feedback that helps you not have to miss the Event and what it provides anyway! :o

This particular huge Event is running with around two months of time inside three months of space, and providing a whopping four selectable Hero Mechs along with 150 GSP plus 400 Loot Bags of random things to earn. This does not even include all the additional from the four Event Trackers (that's 100 GSP, 400 (MC), and 4 Million (C-Bills) in total) that are simultaneously up, which I also recommend you inspect. That's a horrid amount to be passing up, particularly when you can even come back later during the course of this Event in order to finish it, for there will be a period where you can score to all four of the Phases at the same time!

Heh, the thing is that my SSD is full, one of the similiar games (Dreadnought from Six Foot) will soon get it's servers "lights" off, still dealing with bad things in my life; not mentioning that my buddies are attempting to take me over for WoWs, Elite Dangerous, ETS2/ATS, and even... Farming Simulator :D

But yes, maybe I should keep my mouth shut... -_-

I'm actually glad you spoke up a little (SERIOUSLY, I REALLY AM!)....... and I really sincerely hope you finally find some way past those bad things in your life, such that you come out on top in the end... here's to the hope this post finds you well! No reason to end up sinking when others want to help you swim, right? ;)

I can give you four helpful notes...
  • SSD Prices are coming down a lot as of late. Having an overly full SSD can actually cause it to prematurely do bad things. If you have the spare data & power ports in your computer, then get yourself something on the order of 2TB or 4TB in size. That will allow you to make your current one much less full, and give you plenty of space to work with, extremely so if you grab the 4TB version. :D
  • I've seen some rather nice "Elite: Dangerous" videos on YouTube from things regarding the "Fuel Rats" Association who spend time helping people not end up on the short end of things while exploring that game's near-limitless galaxy. If you get stuck out there, call out to them for help and save your resources so you have a chance at avoiding death and the associated costs within that game! ^_^
  • I hope you really like things such as "Farming Simulator"-style gameplay. Somebody gave me the impression that stuff there needs far more grind than MWO ever will. :o
  • I hear you mentioning "World Of Warships" and some metaphorical Red Flags are waving about in my head. I had to double-check Wikipedia on this one regarding who makes it, but it seems some part of me reminded myself that the company known as "Wargaming" is rather known for being a cash-grabber on a level that can make PGI look like an angel. (That includes the "Gold Khan" era, and definitely says something!) This actually caused someone else whom I know to drop the associated "World Of Tanks" game entirely, and never touch "World Of Warships" either. If you're really going to touch this one, then I hope you're sitting on a huge spare ball of cash that you don't mind using up, otherwise stay clear! Also, you might even take note of some other messes which they have been in, and are listed on the Wikipedia @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wargaming_(company) as well, even though the cash-grabber note I'm making is unfortunately not. :(
...and I wish you good luck on the other games! B)

I guess one can only hope you get to waddle back on over to MWO in time, seeing as ALL "Big Beach Party 2023" Phases will have a 27-Day period starting from July 25th, 2023 where they're running concurrently. That will enable you to put maximum effort into 100% completion as of then. I will look forward to seeing your return to the battlefields! :)

Yes.

At the moment you get a lootbag every 200 match score. In a few weeks time, you will get ~6 loot bags for every 200 matchscore, requiring a sixth of the time investment.

I mostly just play for events... and this setup has encouraged me to pretty much just not play until end of July.
