Having fun while playing MWO; it does not feel like a grind to achieve the Beach Party Hero Mechs!

I know some people have said the grind on the match score for the loot bags seems like alot, but there is alot of time for the event and even with pahse 2, 3, 4, phase 1 rewards will still build.

I ended up buying a legend and really like the Battlepass, and the fact you get an extra 50 loot bags is awesome. Picked up 6 of the legends, played them thru the battlepass, and can't beat the extra 300 loot bags.

The amount of premium time and such being given out is just awesome. Thanks PGI. Need some more Legend mechs added so I can buy some!

A decal. There is so many of them. I never bothered to have a look upon ALL of them. Would consume half a day or so...
I think if someone take the time for it may found real shinies...
I am content with my CJF logo the rest I either won of got from salvage caches - still only about 8-10 decals from the 50-60 I already have.
Still I wish we could have custom decals to upload but PGI sure not have a spare employee to check them before accepted (CoC violating contents and suchs)...

Yo PGI you missed a heavy hero on your selection drop down, the Roughneck - Bolt.
It is the ONLY HERO you do not have on the dropdown list for the heavy Hero's.
Please Fix this oversight.

yeah because i have 450 total bags.... and i bought the howl dreadnaught and moon walker (not sure if that applies) I also bought the Stone Rhino.

I suppose you two simply don't like Events without constant high-pressure chaos from one end to the other? While one can not blame the both of you for having such an outlook even though others of us enjoy the build-up over time, please avoid during the earlier parts of BBP2023 ("Big Beach Party 2023" Event) any mindset of thumbing your nose up at playing entirely! After all, we recently had that "Patriotic Long Weekend" Event & Sale (https://mwomercs.com/news/2023/06/2756-patriotic-long-weekend-event) happening for everyone to enjoy. (Personally, I almost didn't have enough time to finish that because of things beyond my control, but that's on me and a slight lack of aggression IRL on my part... Basically, a lesson learned...) There are likely more smaller & shorter Events to come, kind of like that one was, and could therefore provide interest in not disappearing entirely prior to all four BBP2023 Phases being active. Those who can not play at this time will more than likely catch up with us later, even though they will find themselves dealing with higher difficulty in getting rolling and acquiring stuff. Stick around, alright?


As for me, I'm gonna enjoy playing through and easing into BBP2023's build-up over time. It's definitely a lot better than leaving the MatchMaker Queue short on players, which means gameplay quality is better for everyone because the MM gets more people it can work with. Now it happens that I might seem like a crazy radical, but this approach sounds better in my mind than wrecking myself on stressing over trying to do everything during a short time period.

Hey there, Erik & Smoke... Maybe we can get PGI to create Non-Legendary Versions which would not have things like the Battle Pass, Special Camo Pattern, and/or the (C-Bills) Bonuses attached? After all, one of the biggest things about MWO used to be that absolutely NOTHING (at least, beyond a Standard (C-Bills) Variant that had been given a Special Camo with (C-Bills) Bonus) was completely Pay-$$$-To-Win/Pay-$$$-To-Acquire in order to keep things completely fair. They totally blew that by releasing these Legendaries without having corresponding in-game Hero and/or (C-Bills) Versions to match. For all that I know, if the me of 7.6 years ago were seeing this happen (as opposed to the me of now) then it might have been possible that my existence on MWO would never have started. As it is, both my younger self and the current being who's posting now would agree this completely Pay-$$$-To-Win/Pay-$$$-To-Acquire thing was not the smartest and/or best move they could have made, seeing as corresponding Non-Legendary Versions are missing which would have kept things balanced.


Heck... Where are some of the WarHorn Releases for (MC) that should have happened over time?!?!? I'm sure there are some people who would like to acquire more of certain ones!!!

Since this thing is going for so long, it gets buried further down the page with every new "news" or event post.
