A warm welcome to MWO!
Strongly suggest finding a Unit that's active in your timezone... it's by far the biggest factory for determining your Unit...
That said, unless you are playing FP (Faction Play) a lot, the factions (House Kurita, etc.) don't matter too much from what I've seen...
Anyways, do have fun deciding on your Unit!
