Great change, IMHO, those arms were way to wide. Hope you change it in MW5 too.

NSR-10P with ECM (and its Platinum +30% CBills version too!):

much better convergence, and I'm reinstating my keybinds to fire all 4xRAC2 as default.
(Previously it was Left 2xRAC, and Right 2xRAC on mouse buttons, since its arms were so w-i-d-e !!)

oh yeah, my Nightstar runs so much better now (x4 RAC/2 as wellwith 2 MLs just in case). be a LONG time since i played since the convergence issues got annoying. now i am thinking i might grab it more often when i am in the mood for spewing a hailstorm of pullets downrange. (i still have them set to R/L on my mouse since if you press them a millisecond apart the rounds stagger just a bit making the cockpit shake and flashes on the enemy that much worse. there are times when you can only hit the target with one side (be it terrain or another mech in the way))

i think we will be seeing more Nightstars on the the field. (same goes for the Uziel, it got some much needed love in the patch as well)

Keep in mind that I ~hate~ playing assaults.

Those quirks plus skill tree means its an almost endless stream of dakka before they start to jam out and the recovery is fast.

When I saw the update I took before (and then after) pictures of the Nightstar, it's a big difference. They took off about the width of the leg from each arm (the section closest to the shoulder was removed) So 2x the width of a leg total.

with this geometry change i am hoping we get so re-scaling. some mechs are WAY to big for their tonnage with some mediums being as big as Assaults. even many lights being far to big (i don't play them but even i admit that the Jenner is way to big for its tonnage)

I think the convergence fix is very good for the mech, but now it looks goofy AF. It looked badass, not it just looks wrong, a visual catastrophe with the stubby arms and goofy a*s hands. But since you're in it who cares :).

A mechanical win and visual loss for the Nightstar!

I think it looks fine, before, shooting it felt like throwing curve balls.

Unfortunately, as a longtime 10P fan. the changes haven't resulted in the ability to run 4 RAC-5s. You can fit a RAC-5 and a RAC-2 on each arm but the heat is impossible to manage.

I picked up all of the other Nightstars in the last sale (except for the Hero) and it's interesting how good they are when you do mixed weapon loadouts.
