Yeah, I definitely understand that. I think it's only once in a blue moon that I can tell how many different LRM boats are firing at me, unless one is Clan and the other IS. It's usually only when I'm a third party that I can see how many different directions the missiles are coming from (or if I've got 3x AMS and feel defiant enough to stare at them as they come in. That only ever lasts a half-second, but the Kit Fox is fast enough for me to get to hard cover and not be punished too hard for my cockiness :) ).

Well, there are so many LRM counters available in MWO that I would say that LRMs have lost this race.

yep snipers ecm,more snipers, ATMs stealth armor. (even though people say stealth armor sucks i still see fleas ravens and Thanatos running it...So I ask, "If it sucks so much why do i see it?"

What I don't understand is people using ONLY lrms with no backups i've seen a nova cat and a stalker with a bunch of Lrms and a tag....

One design approach to MWO 'Mech says that instead of designing a 'Mech that attempts to do three things and it is not really good in either of them, it is better to design a highly specialised design that would be good in one thing (sniping, lurming, DPS-damge dealing, etc.) and then use it to its maximum advantage in the game.

I would still want something that can do damage at 0 meters... at least enough to say shoo. i've learned from playing this game for most of it's existance that you really cannot depend on your allies too much.

Vipers quirks combine to let it effectively boat SRMs on a chassis that has always been energy/MG boating. The SO4/SO6 quirks are unique as well.

The stalker just looks strong. Stock will work, 4xAC5+LPPC will work, and there's probably scope for some other AC2/5+2xLPPC builds. I don't think it will underperform as is.

I wasn't commenting on whether they are good or not. Just that they copypasted the text for legendary mechs without looking at the added mechs long enough to see that these DON'T have the mentioned "outlier" quirks. The Stalker especially has less quirks than all other Stalker variants.

Guys, you forgot to add Targeting Computers bonuses to all new weapons. It's not in Equipment.xml

Info about new weapons not working with TCOMP is worth adding to "known issues" section.
Unless it's intended, but I doubt it, as all the other quirks work on them.
