While he was busy working on the new map, Krazzdaxx found a bit of time to add some holiday cheer to the MechLab, a first for MechWarrior Online!

Listen mate. If you celebrate christmas, I hope you enjoy it.
I do not enjoy it. I want to be left alone with it and not have it pushed on me every corner I turn. But every time I express my anoyance at it someone like you comes along and tells me I should shut up about wanting to be left alone with it.
Have your consumerism fest. Just leave me the **** alone with it. Thats all I ask.

This Xmass stuff has barely anything to do with religion anymore, I don't see jesus or angels around.

Sorry pal if you are living in western society and even most of the world outside of it... you are gonna get xmas shown into your face everywhere unless you hide in your basement WITHOUT using internet.

Or simply ignore the complainers.

christmas itself doesnt really bother me anymore. almost every major christian holiday is an appropriated pagan holiday. and much of the pagan fluff is part of those celebrations still (no free prostitutes unfortunately). being primarily of scotch irish origin im fine with a holiday that ultimately goes back to my pagan (primarily celtic) roots despite being a total nihilist.

Yeah, and for that matter, why are you playing video games when you could be volunteering at a food pantry!?

I get that a lot of people look forward to christmas because its a time for them to get together with their family or otherwise loved ones and that is perfectly fine. But there are also people out there for whom christmas is a time for profound loneliness because they do not have or are far away from their family.
Its rather short sighted to just shove it into everyones face all the time.

The more appropriate phrase would be happy holidays to be least offensive

But there are places with evergreens, lights to allow one to see what is around them, and people are always leaving things laying around on the ground. I do not see a Claus, even a sexy Claus nor elves, etc.
