Is There A "master List" Of Quirks?

Especially the weird ones, like extra UAVs, or Bonus Seismic, or "no crit" buffs (like Number 7) and stuff like that

Or do I have to dig through ~500 mechs to look for them?

~500 mechs, divided by 60 minutes per hour.

That's ~8 hours at only 1 minute per mech.Posted Image including writing down each quirk. Probably take me two days of dedicated work, in reality. More like 16 hours of work including coffee breaks, and trying to organize my notes/type them up.

Also, I just noted the Scattershot does NOT have "no screen shake while using jump jets" listed in the quirk specs. Any other mechs have unlisted quirks?

But it seems it also doesnt show that screenshake so its probably not perfect either.

Its because that isn't technically a quirk. It just has a different value. Same way different variants of the same chassis can have different agility and its not due to quirks.

So its just a different unlisted stat Posted Image

if you look inside the pak files and open up a mdf file you can easily see the listing of quirks on the mech.

CP10Q list:

So basically if the MechDB guys had made the DB read the mdf files they could have a complete list of quirks for every mech.

Excellent!I was hoping I would not need to do it by hand.

That's a great resource, I'm building a set of SNPPC mechs right now, all based on specific quirks.

You can also goto MechDB 2.0 and [Search] for quirks (the lower left hand corner search box):

For Snub Nose PPC, you may wish to search for these quirks:

Velocity
~PPC Velocity --> eg: CRB-27(R ) with +60% PPC Velocity!
~Weapon Velocity

Cooldown
~Cooldown (aka global Cooldown)
~Energy Cooldown
~PPC Cooldown

Range
~Range (aka global Range)
~Energy Range

Heat & Heat Dissipation
~Heat
~Energy Heat
~Heat Dissipation

And here are 3 of the most "difficult to know" quirks:

1) No JJ shake:
Highlander Heavy Metal HGN-HM
Shadowhawk Scattershot SHD-S

2) 360 degree turn:
Vapor Eagle VGL-GW
All Urbenmechs

3) 10% Damage Reduction to the torso with the jumbo shoulder missile box, as per Feb-2023 patch:

I spent a lot of time on there playing, I love it.

Heavies are giving me trouble, I'm stuck between an extremely cool running Catapult-K2 with 4SNPPC, or one of the Warhammers.

Either make a poptart (45% JJ boost!) 4xsnppc in torso warhammer (I "think" I can alpha without shutting down, after I skill it) (IS version of pop tart Veagle!)

Or a maybe 5xsnppc warhammer with ECM b/c it has HSL+1, I don't like the low arms, but ECM is cool, would be good for city fighting not so good at hill humping.

I did not see the crab before I bought a BJ-3 3xsnppc (can alpha 2 or 3 times before overheat despite no HSL+1). BJ-3 has all ppc quirks.

Got an an AWS-8Q 6xsnppc with HSL+1.

fle-19 w/snppc and mrm10 is wicked- runs a little slow with XL125, had to trim armor, but 25 alpha with massive cooldown quirk is working really well. Pokes like a boss. I'm getting some sick damage numbers.

I also looked at the ECM Warhammer with 3snppc and MRM40, too bad they didn't armor quirk that missile box, it is massive!

CPLT-K2: AC10 + 2xSNPPC + XL250: it wrecks!

My new love:
STK-5M(P) with 2xSNPPC + 5xSRM6 + LE300 (has +1 HSL SRM6): it wrecks!

I was trying to find the best SNPPC boat for each weight class.

Heavy was/is giving me fits.

I'll look into lights after that, but I doubt I'll find anything with enough buffs to offset the flea 19's cooldown and agility, even though it's a mxed build.

That warhammer with ecm had an interesting build with 3snppc and mrm40 I'm still thinking of trying it out too. 85dmg alpha, without skills it just barely shut down on the second alpha.
