George Ledoux, the renowned video game voice actor, is reprising his role as the original voice of Duncan Fisher from MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries. Duncan Fisher's memorable commentary as the announcer for the Solaris Games has resonated with fans for over two decades, inspiring a wealth of fan-created stories, videos, art, and more. I'm glad we are getting a Solaris DLC with Duncan Fisher. Though I wish we could have gotten a prelude to the Clan Invasion, it's nice to always hear the voice of George Ledoux. Also, I'm glad that PGI is finally using the Roughneck they had in their files for so long.

Broke student that I am, I haven't even completed a MW5 playthrough, let alone bought any of the DLCs, but I absolutely have to get this one.

It looks like there's just more PvE content, but if it ever becomes possible to add peer-to-peer Solaris matches to MW5, that'd be a great way to have some PvP Mech action exist past the lifespan of the MWO servers.

Yes! Duncan Fisher returns! I loved him in Mechwarrior 4 Mercs.

Since we are on the topic Duncan Fisher's return...any chance of Tex, from the Black Pants Legion, also making an appearance as maybe the villain, lance mate, or rival in this DLC?

Huh, I honestly wasn't expecting a Solaris DLC... but I am very pleasantly surprised! And that trailer/teaser? It's by far the best MW5 promo video and probably top 3 of any MW game, period. Kudos to you guys.

With this release, and the release of Mech 5 clans, any chance of a Mechcon this year? 2024 is the 40th anniversary of Battletech. Would be a great year to do one.

I would love to see a return to Mechcon after six years of waiting. I loved the atmosphere that it brought for TableTop enjoyers, PC gamers, MWO unit members and game devs with the BT authors together. Even PGI's website for it still up: https://mechwarrior.com/mechcon
If PGI did a funding for a Mechcon 24 in the form of a support pack, I wouldn't mind throwing some cash at it.
