That's more brawl range. AC5 and AC10 are more mid. There is an LB20X Snub build also.
That and other mediums do AC20+SNPPC better.

Otherwise u end up with small alpha an mediocre dps and lots of face time for low max dmg potential because of ammo.
I can suggest the 2uac5, lppc enforcer. Still rough spot in current meta, but is always surprisingly good.

Well, while both AC options match the LPPC about as well in regard to velocity, 3 AC/5s will output more DPS, and their cooldown will synch nearly 2:1 with the LPPC (AC/10 is a 43:60 ratio.) Since the Bushwhacker is a Medium, the build is designed to gang up on other 'mechs when the enemy is trying to maneuver or feels to shoot at your Friendly Neighborhood Atlas or whatever.
The difference isn't That Much. The AC/5s give you more flexibility in range with a bit more dps, and the AC/10 yields a bit more punch with better mobility.
However, AC/10s work better in general as a midrange trading build, and UAC/10s might be better in that regard (The build will fit on the X1, too.) Honestly, though, there's Bushwhackers with cooldowns that might do it better.

I avoid Ultra 10s and 20s without jam quirks usually. Jams on the Huntsman are already brutal with quirks.

That's usually wise - I think the AC/5 LPPC build is probably the best way build that, but Bushwhackers aren't a strong chassis in my experience. I can get them to work, and I have a soft spot for them via MW3, but they don't perform like my Shadowhawks or what-have-you. I haven't spent a lot of time on them, though - it may just be a matter my failing to match play style to the capabilities of the chassis.
Alternatively, the RAC/2 build sidesteps the lack of cooldown quirks, and might do well in the same role, at the cost of vulnerability to harassers.
