it seem to me like the whole game is running slower than before longer load times, lower FPS.... what is going on am I just imagining it?

it takes 30+ seconds just to pick another mech on the list I know I have a lot but common!

I don't know about slower, but its freezing for me. Mid game, my screen will freeze. No control of anything, including comms. After a long 2-3 minutes it unfreezes to me being dead, I can only imagine what it looks like to other players, as if I'm strolling into battle without firing a shot. This was not an issue pre-patch.

Absolutely, yes. Last patch was the best performance we've ever had. Now it's down again.

My FPS went down all over . Does not matter Mechlab, Training Grounds, in Match...all around FPS drop .
Other people I play with now regularily experience dcs while loading into Match...not having suffered any before last patch .

I actually thought the mechlab UI was faster to load my stuff now. Maybe not. I hadn't played for a while and then recently played a little.

Yes.

Have lower frame rate in game.

Have small freezes during gameplay, the game stops for about 0.5 seconds or so, this happens every few minutes, maybe 1 or 2 per match.

Yes! Now sometimes the map loading screen stops loading (stops spinning) and just freezes for a minute or so. Often I get into the game and I'm dead, or worse still it says I'll get no match score for rejoining after 2 minutes! I didn't rejoin! I just waited and got cut off. And then to rub salt into the wound, I get a time out for abandoning the match and a drop in PSR. I'm now tier 5 by the way. Frickin hate this game now. But it seems a shame to abandon 150 mechs in my stable

I am not experiencing the trouble that you have desscribed.

Essentially, everything is okay here.

Have you tried the MWO Repair Tool?

it seems to me like match search times are lower i'm also noticing alot of tele lagging.

Try repair tool or verify on steam, I was having issues today too, that little circle stopped spinning and I was always last in loading on every map, tried repair, now it is back to normal.

I had a very similar problem with fps drop, but two patches earlier.
Whenever the map was loading, when there was a pause in loading, there was about 20-30 fps less in the match.
It was something to do with Vlaad Tweaks or replacing shaders (I think, I'm not really sure), because when I removed Vlaad Tweaks everything went back to normal.
But as I say, everything has been fine for two patches and I normally use Vlaad Tweaks.
If you use it, remove it, use the repair tool, see if it helps

How do you verify MWO installation on Steam? Didn't know it's possible for Steam...

I am going by memory, so it's a little vague... open up your game library, right click on MWO in the list, click properties, then local files, and verify integrity will be an option there.

This will not clear your shader cache, however. You'll have to do it manually

I dont know about slower, but I have noticed ppc shots going straight through 100 mechs (not only 100 tonners, but as an example that Im not shooting through legs) ct's in at least every 3rd match or so.
