WARTHOG 48 matches won 31 lost 17 killed 56 opp. and died 27 times. For a 2.07 kill ratio. I've done 18,391 damage over all those matches and spent almost 6 hours in the warthog.

I just bought it when they reduced the armor, so I have zero experience with it as it being "tanky".

It's actually brought up my KDR. I don't have many lights as it is because I can't play them worth anything really. The Warthog is the exception and I'm halfway through T3 now because I've been playing it a bunch.

I've successfully solo'd a couple different Atlas' and several other assaults. I don't do it by tanking damage because the Warthog will just be erased by an Atlas alpha strike.

The warthog is a good harasser as it can out maneuver assaults fairly well. So generally I go for killing one assault and maybe taking out a medium before I end up dead. But the same can be said about how I pilot my Atlas' as well. Only difference is I'm busy tanking damage and dishing it out.

The APG is a great weapon as they stand. Would I continue using the Warthog when the weapon system it excels at using gets nerfed? Probably not, why play something like a Warthog when I can play something that carries and AC20 or 2. My AC20 stats are over 270k damage dealt with a 1.97 kill ratio. So I'll take that and use that over APG after the nerfs.

Raw speed is pretty essential for lights given how fragile they are and the lack of firepower and/or range they have. Agility is nice but matters less when you aren't the size of a 20 tonner and can juke to avoid shots.

When you are talking about "zipping" between cover, speed is way more important for lights because you want to take off-angles because straight up poke fights you are playing with fire because unless you are levering poptarts or mounts that allow you to do pixel-peaking-esque things which you aren't with the warthog.

Not sure about the profiles. You don't really miss your shots on a FS9 very much, not at that range and speed anyway. They're just good at directing where some of that damage goes. If you want to take off an arm that's pretty easy from most angles, but the Adder's arms are harder to hit from the front and about as easy from the side.

That -A variant is the highest performing FS9 you see (although the firestorm seems to match it), and a 0.71ish KDR with about 7000 drops, while the warthog just before the modest armor nerf had over 78,000 drops and a kdr of 1.4.
