Greetings Warriors,

We’ve been hard at work to ensure MechWarrior 5: Clans delivers an experience that surpasses your expectations. While we originally planned to launch on October 3rd, we’ve decided to take a little extra time to add the finishing touches the game deserves. As a result, we’re moving the release to October 17th 00:00 UTC (OCT 16th at 5 PM PDT)

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this brief delay, and we’re confident the wait will be well worth it. We can’t wait for you to dive into the action—it’s going to be epic!

Thank you for your continued support,
The MechWarrior 5: Clans Team

It's not scary. At least postpone it for six months. The main thing is to release a high-quality game.

I'm hyped by the trailers and characters...
I think it's better to take the time to polish to get the best start for a game and also get the fame for it :)

Still hoping for a GOG release for this game. That'd be an instant buy for me.

It’s cool, would appreciate an another small video of gameplay. Depending on how much of a burden that would be?

It is better for a game to release good and become awesome with time and updates, then to release bad and get good later.

Too many games have been released bad or really unpolished and only gotten good later, take all the time you guys need to make sure it's polished!

We understand everything and don't worry. The main thing is not to rush and make the product completely polished ready, and most importantly the best in the series. I've been waiting for more than 20 years for a new Clan game after MW2 and waiting a couple of extra weeks is not a problem.

MW5:Clans looks good so far!

Do make sure the game is finished well, before it crosses the starting gate!

I'd rather you release it good than patch it 30 times. But you are putting it past my birthday.

Why did you change the description of the game on Steam? It used to be much better. The spirit, the way of the Clans was felt. The atmosphere of the universe, the artistic style was. And now it's simple and banal, it's done without a soul. It's very formulaic. I'm disappointed...

MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS tells the story of the warriors of the star of the Smoke Jaguar Clan during Operation Revival, a full-scale invasion of the Inner Sphere. Armed with an arsenal of the latest combat robots, carefully designed maps and missions provide exciting and challenging tactical gameplay and combat.

MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS — a recent graduate of the Smoke Jaguar cadet program immerses players in an epic story set against the backdrop of a large-scale invasion. Operation Revival brings their Star to the forefront of a bold and dangerous war aimed at reclaiming their rightful homeland from the tyrants and despots ruling the Inner Sphere. This extensive campaign takes place on numerous planets with diverse biomes, showcasing carefully designed maps and missions that provide immersive gameplay and challenging combat encounters. Armed with an arsenal of customizable combat mechs equipped with advanced technology, players can explore a variety of tactical and strategic possibilities. In the first MechWarrior clan game in almost three decades, players find themselves at a turning point in the MechWarrior universe.

In MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS, you take on the role of a promising young pilot who has just completed intensive training on Huntress, the home planet of the Smoke Jaguar. As an important member of the five robot squad known as the Star, you find yourself in the heart of the clan invasion of the Inner Sphere—a turning point in the BattleTech universe. Throughout the campaign, the game expertly immerses you in the personal and military conflicts of the invasion, enveloping you in an exciting narrative filled with well-crafted characters and moral difficulties that will force you to sit on the edge of the command couch.
Experience the pinnacle of MechWarrior simulation-style combat in MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS. Thanks to the advent of clan combat mechs and technology, the game provides a fresh and dynamic gameplay. Experience the evolution of development and customization, where pilots can fine-tune their mechs with the updated MechLab, Hardpoint and OmniPod system. In this ever-changing battlefield, adaptability is the key to securing strategic victories.

MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS harnesses the immense power of the Unreal Engine, immersing players in a world filled with stunning environmental details and intuitive destruction. Whether you are fighting a precision battle among the carefully designed landscapes of the planet or traveling through the vast expanses of vast swamps, each battle takes place against the backdrop of impressive landscapes and complex infrastructure of the Inner Sphere.

And that's how it became in the description. I don't understand why they changed it. It was beautifully written, with an atmosphere like in books. With the spirit of the Clans.

In MECHWARRIOR 5: CLANS, you are a graduate pilot of the Smoke Jaguar Cadet program. You will take part in the invasion of the Inner Sphere, codenamed Clan, during Operation Revival. In this key event for the MechWarrior universe, you will lead a squad of five mechs called Star. You will visit many planets with diverse biomes and take part in a grand campaign with exciting gameplay and challenging battles. Modern high-tech BattleMechs combat robots will be at your disposal. You will be able to change them to your liking and explore the huge number of tactical and strategic opportunities available to you. Thanks to the Unreal Engine, the game will delight you not only with its detailed environment, but also with the epic destruction that you will sow. Every battle against the tyrants of the Inner Sphere is a real spectacle. In this game from the MechWarrior series, the Clan system has appeared for the first time in almost 30 years. In addition to it, you will find a fascinating story with detailed characters and their moral dilemmas, as well as dynamic adaptive battles, which have become even better thanks to the redesigned MechLab, Weapon Suspension and OmniPod systems.
  • Find out how the Clan invasion went from the point of view of Clan Smoke Jaguar. Lead your Star squad, take part in quests and battles, and watch videos the likes of which have never been seen in the history of MechWarrior.
  • Adapt your strategy to come to victory. Now it's even easier to do this thanks to the new battle grid, radial command menu and control optimization.
  • Change Mechs thanks to weapon systems, equipment and Clan upgrades for a specific task and battle. With the new pilot development system, you can take their skills to a new level.
  • A new full-fledged campaign with a detailed destructible environment on the latest version of the Unreal Engine has received a technical update and will allow you to look at the MechWarrior universe in a new way.
  • Invite up to 4 other players. Lead your Star squad into battle and defend it during challenging missions and exciting battles.

And the mention of the full-scale invasion of the Inner Sphere disappeared from the description. Should we expect some waves in the DLC?
