Invader jumpships, Essex destroyers, a Texas battleship front and center, a Black Lion battlecruiser in there, maybe a couple Liberator cruisers and Lola III destroyers, and a pair of Nightlord battleships in the background! And next to the Texas is a Sovetskii Soyuz heavy cruiser!

Audacious Aubergine, on 28 September 2024 - 06:57 PM, said:
If the Inner Sphere attacks first in melee, then the clansmen can also respond in kind. Especially Smoke Jaguar.
That's what Zellbrigen says about melee combat.
CLOSE COMBAT
Unlike the rules of dueling, the Clans' dislike of close combat is rather an informal, though widespread
custom. It is not known where he gets his start, although some experts suspect that Nikolai Kerensky actively encouraged long-range combat. Clan warriors can only launch melee attacks if an enemy combat unit does it first, and only against that particular unit. If the opposing player is in the melee phase any clan mech that is the target of such an attack can freely engage in close combat with the attacking mech.
