5 player PvP in arenas sounds more like a FFA mode.

If nothing else, probably a way to early test a true large scale MW_Next PVP.

I'm not clear yet - is there 5 friends fighting each other or 5 VS 5 with random people and match searching?

i guess its a start. it might also be a nail in the mwo coffin. maybe not the last, but certainly not the first. im glad i didnt buy that bane now.

Check the DLC page they have more info. No match maker it looks like, and MAX 5 people with whatever teams you want.

makes sense that it would be star vs star perhaps in clan trial format.

You aren't missing a thing. I've never regretted a purchase before, but the bane is absolutely awful.

This is a very cool addition, but I'm afraid it should be a patch, not a paid DLC.

What I want to see in the next DLCs (in order of complexity):
- New Game + mode;
- more omnimech chassis (Firemoth, Ice Ferret, Huntsman, Ebon Jaguar...);
- Elementals!
- Full competitive support ("Trials of Grievance"?) with ladders, matchmaking and bloodnames as rewards;
- Clan battlemechs;
- Procedural missions;
- New storylines (for the other invading Clans).

Mod I want to see: recreation of MW2 in MW5C.

This! 100% this. Especially the mod for the original mw2 and GBL. Definitely want my ice ferret also.
