The good news is, the "unique" torso parts that came as part of the Mech Pack are also available for CBills for similar chassis:

~Black Hawk KU: ballistic arms now available for CBills
~Sovereign (Legendary EXE-B-C): ballistic arms now available for CBills

==>So I'll presume that the Grand Summoner's JJ LT/RT also would eventually be available for CBills!

(Personally, I feel that MWO is being a bit too generous considering the general news, but I digress...)

idk about that, with a diminished staff most of the money we pay into the game goes to the rights hoarders and not the development or even maintenance of the game.

From bottom to top, January patch we should get the Spectre/Apache, February we should get the Bane, March Grand Summoner, April Naomi/Starshot.

Something like that anyways.

It's about 6 months from cash only to MC mechs, or cash only to C-BIll for non-Hero variants of new Chassis. Same for special event mechs, they should show up for C-Bills about 6 months after the event, such as the Christmas Commando we got last year.

That's just a rule of thumb, and I may have missed something in the above timeline, but I've been following this for about the last year now so I can buy new variants and chassis.

Also, new variants show up at the end of the list in the in game store, for each chassis.

You'll see them after the Hero mechs, for C-Bills, example the Warthog is at the end of the list, after the heroes. Once you see the pattern you can go back through all tehh\ mechs and look for new variants that just showed up recently.

I'm sure some of y'all don't know this, I didn't figure it all out until a few weeks ago.

thx, I'll need to go check it out as I recently bought both a Sovereign and a Blackhawk KU (not a very good mech, IMHO, hopefully the ballistics can make a decent build, IDK.

Sovereign is a brutal mech though, I have it set up similar to my Moonwalker.

thanks for the tip on the arms, I also tested the uac5x2 on the Blackhawk KU, the ballistic arms work great. And UAC10 LPPCx2 worked well.
