I don't know where I should post about weird bug on mech, the available section is for map feedback.
Problem : BSK-3 sometimes has weird driving bug, such as :
- keep going forward, this only happen when I keep pressing W button. I did stop it or press S to reduce speed, yet the mech keep accelerating
- keep turning left (like keep pressing A button)
- keep firing, the same thing as the movement button.
Happened both on match or testing ground.
Happened several times, but usually on the first match after the game started and using BSK-3. The second, third etc match didn't have the problem.
Not happened on other mech.
When it happened, I did un-plug my keyboard, but the mech keep turning left (as if it still got "A" button pressed)
The keyboard is totally fine, I work to write / coding for life with these keyboard, so if it has faulty switch it should also happen when I code.

Perhaps your own keyboard key "a" is stuck?
aka you've NASCAR'ed too much, and your "a" key is stuck
But seriously, so the BSK-3 has a "NASCAR" bug then?

Play other games with macro's setup on the mouse? Use a joystick/gamepad, or software that emulates such? Unplug or disable, or make a change to the MWO controls.

Seen many comments on this and other forums, about the problem where, when a mech first drops and when you press B or Tab, your mech changes speed. And it is never solved. Most people say 'just report it as a bug'.
The key point is - it is always to the same speed. For some players it is full reverse, for some its stop, for some its 33% forward. In fact it can be ANY speed, but for the same player it is always the same speed, every time. If you mech starts at 43% reverse, every time you press Tab it goes to 43% reverse, every time you press B it goes to 43% reverse.
Now when people have been trying to solve this, the solutions they give are always wrong. Throttle decay? Nope. Corrupted keymap? Nope. Virus? Nope. Hotkeys messed up? Nope.
In fact what the problem is, you have a flight stick, xbox controller, car steering wheel pedals, HOTAS joystick, Farm Simulator excavator auxiliary control panel, or other peripheral attached, and the game is picking up the throttle setting on THAT as the default setting. Even if, like most players, you only ever use kb+mouse to play this game.
So to solve this? Settings, Controller, and in the box for 'Analog Throttle', delete everything.
