it just looks like the Bushwacker and I think that's a cheap move to go and simply recycle old models like that, and I think PGI can do better, and should revisit the gauntlet. you guys have done it before like with the commando IIC, and the Wolfhound C, even if the latter is standing at a very thin line.

after all, the gauntlet is supposed to only "resemble" the Bushwacker, not to look exactly like it. hell just for another example, even canonically the Hatamoto chi is supposed to be a modified charger but no one would guess that just by looking at them.

"Aside from visually resembling its Clan Invasion progenitor, the Gauntlet shares a similar frame and various other components with modern Bushwacker models, allowing both Coventry Metal Works and TharsHes Industries to reduce costs for both designs through economies of scale."

PS

and don't forget to add the jump jets, when the gauntlet takes off it looks as if the flames from the exhaust are coming out of nowhere.

Normally, I would agree, but due to the low manpower that PGI has due to the lay-offs, I don't think it will be possible. If it were me, I'd make the Gauntlet look more like this. Still using kitbashed parts, but with a new torso:

But as it is due to PGI's current status, it's just not possible at this time.

The Gauntlet was just a quick way of adding a new 'Mech by the way of re-using the existing 'Mech model of the Bushwacker. Nothing more.
