Now can we have the Griffin IIc next. Then the Locust IIc after that. Thank you.

I doubt Griffin IIC would happen. It competes with the arctic wolf, and most variants are the same.

So where's Variant IIc 3?

As for the badge, I'm going to use it. Did someone tell them my totem animal is the Red Tail Hawk?

Variant 3 is like the 2. No need for duplicated

Okay, so what's the intention of the Hero that has chest only hardpoints, and less hardpoints?

Obviously it's going to get quirked for something, unless the only gimmick is you go armless?

"Sigma" was the same case.

So we're looking at some form of Splatterhawk or ATM Hawk with laser support for the special variant

Or a triple CERLL / Missile Chest thing for the hero.

21 tons of free space using a stock rated CXL engine, maxed armor, and no jets isn't terrible by a longshot.

It's just a shame that the APG variant, can't, because it has a pitiful amount of em.

Clan Phoenix Hawk is an apt comparison

PXHs don't have missiles save for the Roc.
Unless you're implying the SHDIIC's missile hardpoints are pretty much considered decorative balance-wise and doesn't deserve any quirks which is hardly surprising.

I liked that 'Mech in MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries.

But I do not think that it is probable that we would get three different new medium 'Mechs in a row (Gauntlet - Shadow Hawk IIC - Hellhound)

The only way to differentiate the two is the give the Griffin IIC more focused quirks based on it's base load out while limiting their hardpoints, beside like three variants rest is lasers and MG arrays, which I believe to add into the game to be a nice boost to lighter mechs with single or two ballistic hardpoints to match mechs with natural 4+ ballistic hardpoints.

I don't foresee MG arrays coming to the game in any capacity; their canon purpose is redundant with how the game's weapon convergence works. In theory, I suppose it would allow ’Mechs hardpoint-starved on ballistics to carry more machine guns (and only machine guns) than would normally be permitted, but... there are actually several canonical MG Array-wielding variants already in the game, and in the translation they simply cut out the middleman and just directly added the requisite hardpoints without bothering with the array. I don't expect the Griffin IIC to change that pattern.

Looks good. Hopefully it is as nimble and sleek as the Hatchetman at least. You guys are going to post the quirks for it by next month, right? I'm looking forward to finally playing MWO again after several months of being disinterested.

Edit :- Just realised that the mech will be available in September. Still, I'm looking forward to that day.

No, the IIc 3 has two energy in each arm, and they are not the same.

Each arm h as a er micro laser and micro pulse laser. The heavy large is in the right torso and medium pulse laser in the center. While IIc 2 has er large lasers in the right and left torso while small pulse and er small lasers are one slot each the CT, head and arns. And I have latest record sheets to prove it.

Did you complain about the grand summoner and black hawk? Its the same principle. Quick and easy, basically same chassis..

Stock wise, 6 energy each. You can make a makeshift 3 if you want to.

Oops. Meant to do it right. Both have 6 energy stock.

No, I mean in terms of handling and the vision behind it.

IMO 3 Plasma and 3 SRM6 or SRM6a depending on your desired speed. With 2-3 JJ to poptart.

If you're going slow on it, then isn't it just the Vapor Eagle with better agility or Summoner with no hitpoints?

Will the Shadow hawk iic will get the 7 variant down the line in the future since it feature improved jump jets or it's not worth adding into the game?

How well does that end up working out?

Solaris showed that Plasmas and APG were great, but I can't tell if that's because of the APG spam with the Plasma offsetting/complementing it.

CSRMs feel like they'd just be worse at that job unless they're very tightly clustered.
