It was so bad, when it was actually called for in comp briefly, I bought a standard version and haven't driven the (P) since. Not that I can remember the last time I used the 1V...

It's a decent alternative to the LCT-3V. Bit lower burst dps, but easiest heat management and a bit higher sustained since it relies more on the MGs. As long as you don't want the cap accelerator, it can be a good pick.

(also can do exotic stuff like snub PPC)

edit: to be perfectly correct the cage has not been removed from the model, just made invisible from the cockpit pov.
=> I hope the christmas version will have the cage ^^

Thank You (and anyone else associated) for this Big Holiday Bonus package. It's much appreciated, and I'll definitely be there to earn it! It's using what I call the best option for seasonal Mech Camo choices.


On the side, I do have two small questions because of some confusion, and was wondering if you might be willing to answer them...

• Usually these Holiday Bonus plays cause 25 Stocking Stuffers to be provided for anyone that completes the entire Holiday Bonus Challenge package. I failed to see any mention, so I felt a need to ask... Did my eyes miss something? Is the added Stocking Stuffers still happening this year? Or is there some reason why they were left out?
  
• I noticed that while we're getting six Mechs in total, it appears that only one pair of Cockpit Items is being given out. Is that setting in the Holiday Bonus Event Challenges listed meant as something intentional? Or would it be possible (particularly since your post regarding the January 2026 Free Mechs has jumped to around 200 Likes) to please ask for an increase in those Cockpit Item amounts, such that all six Mechs being rewarded can each have their own set?

...and I'm very sorry that it's rather last minute when I could ask these questions. Real Life was unfriendly about available timing.

first cool, thanks PGI!!! second, whats up with the shoulders on some of these variants' models? just wondering why didn't you go a little further? this is something that I think would really help the game, that each variant looks somewhat unique, as commonly described in the lore, as seen in the multiple mini versions, and kinda like the way you guys did with the corsair for example.

I'm not sure if I really understood what you mean, your syntax is quite strange ^^

But those mechs were originally released for MWO on what was called the "Phoenix pack" (that can't be bought anymore), in 2014 iirc. All were "unseen" mechs plagiarized inspired by famous japanese anime/manga and banned for a long time for legal reason. The Locust came for Crusher Joe and the 5 others from Dougram.
Anyway, those Christmas mechs are not celebrating anything aside Christmas, you're just 10+ years late for the original party ^^

I played 7 battles (I know it said 6) and had over the minimum score and logged on the site and can't claim my 6 mechs??? That's odd that it doesn't let me. I think I went to the correct page for claiming the mechs. Unless I was on the wrong page or area?
Any guidance is appreciated.

You can also reddem them ingame, by clicking on the button on the left of the bottom center of the screen (does it make sense? it's on the left of the box where maintenance shutdown and other news are displayed)(sorry, no screenshot because i'm not logged) to open the event window, and select the "holiday bonus 2025" one.

Redeeming through the website does not unlock the Mechs for me. However redeeming them ingame does. Fix, please.

If you redeem the rewards via the website, you have to play a match, go to the testing grounds or log off and rejoin for the rewards to be injected.
