Aegis: .....what? Fusion-based propulsion subsystems?!? What the heck is that?!?!
Sheldon: It's the subsystem responsible for the conversion of potential energy into kinetic for the means of relocation at another coordinate in the current plane of existence.
Aegis: ........... you mean MOVING!?
Sheldon: In Laymen's terms, yes.
Aegis: Just send my purchase order through Merc Net, will you... I want to buy supplies for a refit.
Sheldon: May I suggest you backup the harddrive where your account data is stored before I perform this action?
Aegis: ?? I guess....sure.... How do I backup the harddrive?
Sheldon: You throw it in reverse.
Aegis: ........
Sheldon: Bazinga.
I can't beleive you actually influenced me to read that in Sheldon Cooper's voice... I almost feel ashamed for my gullibility... almost.

I can already envision lifting soundboards and TNG episodes for Brent Spiner quotes.

It was one of the best touches the game had, and they made it perfect.
The voice was the most elusive thing ever- it had a relaxed side to it, as if it wasn't bothered by anything, kept things short, and subtly changed tone depending on the subject.

Oh yes, the MW2 voice! Seriously, I dream about that voice. It was the absolute calmness! "Critical Hit: Heat Sink. Internal Heat Critical, Emergency Shutdown Imminent. [Bleepbloop] Emergency Shutdown Overridden." while you were clinging so your life with the last bits of mech you had left, this girl was reciting some poem about heat sinks.
Just get a hold of those samples and reuse them. They were perfect. ;)

The start-up lines were iconic to me. I set it as my computer's start-up sound.

And you can guess what I have for my shut-down sound of course!
I definitely think having sets we can choose from would be awesome. And then abilities to purchase additional ones would be a great means of profit if done right (licensing issues may arise of course, so be sure of supply and demand to make sure it's worth it).
I hope the sound effects will be as immersive as in the old games. All the sounds of the mech really added to the feel of it, and the computer voice is the icing on the cake!

Lyran Mechs maybe with German as standard, Liao with chinese that would be fun.
I would like to have the voice of Snake, Solid Snake or Snake Plissken, I don't mind, both would be fun. And I liked the idea of Christopher Walken :-)
