Thread... RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

Sorry, if this would be considered too much of a thread-necromancy, but I realized I had not shown my Lyran 3rd Royal Guards from the most recent core box set, and yet I didn't want to start my own thread dedicated just to them. Let's restart this thread and keep it going!

Box set lances - tabletop quality. Cant wait to get some metal and go all out.

HATED how the Davion lance turned out. Was happy with Kurita/Marik considering the box set quality.

I'm still learning how to not suck at painting, but here's a couple I did, one Hunchback from the 4th Lyran Regulars (did some "battle scarring" on this to make up for a deformed hand), and then a Clan Jade Falcon Summoner/Loki in the Sigma Galaxy colors (or if you prefer, Turkina Keshik circa Dark Age). Considering these are my first real attempts I'm very happy with how they came out, and I'm sure I'm going to put out more quality stuff in time.

So I finally started my army inspired by my MWO mechbay, and the unit I'm in, Wolf's Dragoons: Devil Dogs Regiment. For this one, with the exception of the Zeus (which is my favorite sphere mech) I will only be doing the mechs I currently pilot in MWO. The goal will also be to match paint schemes as well...

I've only got these 2 done so far, but will be adding a Cataphract and a Centurion next. (I plan to mod the cent to look a little more like MWO's too) I'll also be printing up and adding some Dragoons and Devil Dogs decals soon as well...

This is technically painted....... it was painted in Photoshop instead of directly on the miniature.

I am not claiming I painted the mech, I did not, these are from the game files, I just took them and made them print ready. However, I did add the base as well as the VW model which I had in my own personal asset library anyway.

This is a 3D printed Sarah's Jenner.

I'm by no means a mini's painter, but I got around to trying to test some paints on my atlas to see what kinds of stuff stick to 3d printed PLA. I found some anti-rust spray paint for metal (lol) for the base, and found some 10 year old citidel colour paints I had found around the house... amazingly they're still liquid. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of colours and didn't want to go buy a bunch since it's mostly a function test so I opted for a noob tan colour scheme :( Turned out pretty well, but should have painted the better print in hindsight... it's a lot of work!

More pics later... here are some quick snaps.

The paint doesn't stick that well to rust paint unfortunately... but I sealed it with transparent latex sealant for durability. Seems to work.. I don't know how you guys manage to paint things so small.

I have one of the original marauders, but it is missing the autocannon. Is there any chance you could take a couple pics to show detail and scale to help me resurrect my mini?

My newest member of my mech family... The omega! 150 tons of awesomeness.
3 gauss rifles and 2 lbx10 instantly make this mech a fan favorite.

Among gods know how many miniatures that I have, one in particular stands out. Here is a MWDA Vulture IV as painted by our own Sounguru several years ago as part of a trade.
