Yes you can upgrade from Vet to Elite for $30 and Elite to Legend for $60

I heard all of the excitement.. but please remember it is CLOSED BETA still and the NDA is still in effect.

Other than posting that you are in the beta, no other discussion (including support questions) should be done here on the general forums. Please move your queries about beta to the beta forums, you won't get a response to those kinds of questions here.

But who do we contact when the payment signup doesn't appear to work? I entered my payment details twice into the Founder's signup *last week* and have not had any emails to suggest either attempt has worked.

Beta access would be lovely, but can we sort out the signup process first please!


<edit> - As the logo to the left should indicate, a moot point now. Established that the default payment option hadn't work, so I went through the Paypal route, which had the benefits of both working, and being cheaper.

You're able to freely upgrade your account to a higher level if you buy elite/veteran founder status.

The game maybe awesome and all but... damn if this isn't a bad way to go about things.... This game by what I gathered is similar to WoT in terms of multiplayer mechanics (you jump into the game, get into your mech, press the queue button and wait for a random game for the most part) and what has made WoT the incendiary hit it is is the fact that their CBT was massive, the start of it sure there were few peeps around but when the beta keys started being distributed by multiple sites in vast amounts the game population sky-rocketed and the quality of the game improved almost overnight because more players -> more different takes on how each individual tank was used and lets not kid ourselves WoT has limited tactical options when it comes to tank loadout so it improved the quality of play (no longer did you see stugs playing exclusively on the defensive, or KV-3s bum rushing down maps with impunity). Maybe it's just me wanting to jump into my centurion already but I think such a closed beta could be beneficial to MWO both in terms of stress testing the servers and improving the quality of play for the founders.
