I have 2. The first is more of a sentimental choice: the Mauler. It was my favourite mech in the 95 cartoon, the same source as my online name ^_^.

Second is the Shadowcat. Quick as they come and packing a gauss rifle. Nothing better.

Favorite IS mech: the Atlas. I know its cliched, but I can't deny my love for that 100 ton work of art.

Favorite Clan mech: the Ebon Jaguar (aka the Cauldron Born).

Marauder IIC reborn variant. The Mech just looks solid.

The original marauder and warhammer are up there for me as well.

Personally, I love the Night Gyr; especially those laser heat sinks: Nyan 'Mech.

Other than that, the Phoenix Hawk.

the Madcat Mk II, it's the aesthetics of the thing. The weapon loadout of the mech doesn't hurt either. Plus Clan Diamond Shark sold a bunch to the inner sphere which is a funny way of flipping off the crusader clans.

Now that's a great 'mech. I remember when they used to look like this - and they still rocked!

Mine's the basic Urbanmech - it's served me well over the years. Plus it's one of the few mechs that looks good in a hat (the Atlas does too but it has to take it off when it goes indoors).

Mine always was the blackhawk. I would take out the jets and a few lasers and fill the gaps with heat sinks. Then I would go around chain firing almost indefinitely. Lots o fun.

THAT is where all the missiles come from? Huh, learn something new everyday. But where is the fusion reactor? Don't these things requires like 2000+ Megawatts to operate?

Anyway...

Oh, 1 more thing, Clan tech is for wimps! ANYBODY can kick butt with a Clan mech. The mech is only good as the person piloting it. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad they are not including Clan tech. Call me a non-purist or whatever, more skill is involved using Inner Sphere tech and it will show everyone's skill level. Clan tech is for pilots who are afraid of being exposed as talent- less hacks or making up for insecurities. You gotta have the stones to be an Inner Sphere mechwarrior. A lot of good that Clan tech did them on Pandora or Tukayyid( I'm sure I spelled that wrong).

I love the Uziel, it looks so damn cool to me. The Uziel Prime and its dual PPCs are freaking sweet, my favorit veriant however would have to be the Uziel-2S-J(Jacob) with two RAC/5s with three tones of exstra ammo each, two small lasers, and an SRM6 with one tone of ammo. It doesnt have Jump Jets, BAP, or exstra heat sinks however but at least it still has its nice speed.

Something about an 80-tonner that can keep pace with most IS mediums while putting holes in 'Mechs 20 tons heavier makes me feel all warm inside.

Shred the armor, switch to clusters and let the critical hits roll!

No pun intended.

Mine woulb be the Stalker ... the perfect Assault class fire support mech. Fantastic choice of weaponry, and after 3050, when Clan tech becomes available, it is easy to upgrade to a superlative Fire support mech, with plenty of stand-off power and close in defense, plus enough armor to last till help arrives!
